Lamp Bulb Replacement for Panasonic ET-LAA410

DO NOT BUY THIS! To say I am disappointed would be a huge understatement. We ordered this replacement lamp for our Panasonic PT-AE8000U projector in July of this year. It arrived broken. Amazon was awesome and promptly sent us out a new one from this company and I returned the broken one. We got the replacement bulb within 2 days and we put it in and it seemed to work pretty good (Not amazing, but pretty good). Approximately 2 months after installing it, it says replace bulb and the projector shuts off. We had only used it for no more than 30 hours max. We are selling our home and our house is going on the market with open house this weekend (in 2 days) and now I have to scramble to find a replacement bulb that works and can be delivered before then. The projector with the built in surround sound we have, is such an attractive feature in our home, it was one of those top 5 reasons we fell in love with our home and new it was the one.

Original lamp sent was plastic housing which I returned because it did not fit. Seller sent another lamp with the correct metal housing that fits perfectly in my projector. Thanks!

I've bought this lamp twice this week. The first one they sent had parts falling off of it as I opened the box, and the lamp was dislodged from the housing. The second one arrived today. While all the parts looked intact and the lamp was properly installed in the housing, the unit did not fit in the projector. Upon closer inspection and comparison to my original projector lamp, it became clear the part has the wrong connector. This lamp is advertised as an ET-LAA410 Panasonic Projector Lamp Replacement. Well, the connector is oriented incorrectly (see photo) and does not align with the projector's connector. In fact, this lamp housing damged the plastic guides in my projector because it wasn't fitting due to the misaligned connector. The company provides terrible parts, that either fall apart - or are just plain not correct for the job. They should be ashamed, and remove this lamp for sale on Amazon IMMEDIATELY.In the photo, the ET-LAA410 ordered from COLOR LIT LIFE through Amazon is on the left. My original ET-LAA410 shipped with my projector from Panasonic is on the right. You will notice the orientation of the "tear drop" shape on the right side of the connector. Trust me, the direction of the tear-drop makes a HUGE difference in whether or not the lamp seats in the projector properly.

The new bulb works like a dream and we received it earlier than quoted when purchased.
