Excellent Except A Major Flaw
Plastic and fairly sturdy. Expandable which makes it ideal for more than 10 sheets of paper (actually half a ream was a comfortable fit). Velcro opening which is fairly sturdy. Love the pocket where you can slip in any kind of cover, or routing slip.The problem I immediately found was - the velcro circle is held in place by a tacky substance even less strong than a bandage. Envelope popped open and the contents went all over the floor. More frustrating was that they were printed sequentially numbered forms. The little dime-sized velcro holder should be a wider strip that accommodates the flap changing position because it is expanding. And it should be permanently mounted to the plastic body instead of stuck on.So it's good for those 1 to 10 sleets of paper but be prepared for frustration if it bulks up.Yes - 5 stars for its features but one item that wasn't listed was it's closing feature, which brought down the overall rating of this product. It is sturdy, durable, and stretches just fine, but it just doesn't stay closed.

Perfect for teachers!!
I’m a college teacher and use these to organize my lesson materials. The front pocket is perfect for my lesson plan while the gusset pocket is perfect for any homework i am returning or cards I want to siscticute, etc.

I love these envelopes
I love these envelopes. I use them in my office everyday. many of them have lasted over 3 years....with every day use.

Substandard glue
I like the Velcro closure, however the glue does not seem to be of a very high quality. The Velcro sticks, but the glue does not. It would be nice if these were available with a string closure.

Perfect Letter Size Inter-Office Envelope
These are perfect. Have been looking everywhere for these and finally found them. With the pandemic going on, I was looking for something that could be wiped down and sanitized by the receiver each time it was transferred (can't do that with the paper ones). This fits the bill perfectly. Nice smoky grey color. Fits in a briefcase well. Very well constructed. Has a top Velcro closure so will see how sturdy that is and how long it holds up. Very happy with my purchase.
