Great pencil, found as it got past the half way point in its life that it seemed to break more frequently, but that could be me and a heavy hand. Would get this again though.

I thought this was a six pack. $7 for 1 pencil!!!! Rip off. The one picture shows the six pack too. Showed up with broken point too. Just a pencil thrown in a bag... purchase elsewhere!!!

Ich bestelle diese Bleistifte regelmäßig für meinen Opa. Er mag nur diese. Er ist damit sehr zufrieden. Liegen gut in der Hand und schreiben sehr weich.

ich habe mir zum Zeichnen gezielt diese b8 Stifte gekauft. Ich hatte mir zuvor im Einzelhandel schon mal welche geholt. - Vorneweg, das werde ich auch wieder so handhaben.Ich habe mir zum Zeichnen drei Stifte gekauft, da ich doch für ein Hobby einen recht hohen Verschleis habe.Was die Zeichenqualität angeht - ein träumchen - . Die Stifte machen einen schönen Strich der auch genau da ist wo ich ihn haben möchte. Bei billigeren Strichen hat man zum teil einen deutlichen Abriebt, so das man nur mit Handschuhen oder einem abdeckenden Hilfsmittel arbeiten kann. Das habe ich hier kaum gebraucht.Warum die schlechte Bewertung:Von meiner Bestellung (drei Bleistifte) waren alle Mienen in der Mitte gebrochen. Das habe ich allerding erst mit der Zeit festgestellt. Ich befüchte das dies einfach das Risiko ist, wenn man die Ware online bestellt. Daher werde ich wieder im Einzelhandel die Stiffte besorgen müssen, wenn das auch ein Mehraufwand darstellt (die Stifte sind nicht immer Vorrättig, leider)

I saw the program 'Inside the factory' on BBC2 HD last week, which came from the Faber Castell pencil manufacturing plant in Germany. I was blown away and just had to have one.I am not disappointed. The pencil arrived, on time and I even got an original box, which was perfect for me.

After using cheaper quality pencils since I got back into art last year, I had forgotten what a difference a professional quality pencil makes. And that is exactly what this is. I prefer to use the very black pencils (7-9B) and have found the faber castell 9000 series to be incredibly versatile. I am able to get a depth of shade that was simply not possible with the lesser pencils. At just a couple of pounds per pencil to me this is a total no brainier.

I was worried about buying this pencil because I didn’t know how it would be packaged - as everyone who uses pencils knows, they need to be treated with care.In the end I had to purchase from Amazon due to desperation and ordered 5 pencils in the hope they’d be taped together or protected somehow.They’re absolutely perfect. Each pencil came in protective packaging and I’m delighted with them.
