Crown Prince Naturally Smoked Oysters in Pure Olive Oil 3 oz (Pack of 4)

Great nice large oysters

I thought I’d try these after reading a comparison blog on smoked canned oysters. The oysters are a decent size but are really lacking in any brine or ocean taste. The olive oil used doesn’t add anything to the flavor as well. At $5/can, not really worth the cost.

I decided to make a seafood stuffing for Christmas, and my sister suggested I use Crown Prince smoked oysters. The flavor of the oysters were amazing! I also added lump crab meat and shrimp to the stuffing

These are the best I order them every time.

This provider's description was a bit misleading as to how many cans they would be sending in the order. The pricing implied to me that they would be sending many more cans than they actually sent. Further, this supplier does not accept returns. Buyer beware. The oysters are great, but at the price they charge, one might think the cans were filled with caviar.

The picture for the product shows that it comes in a "BPA Free" can. However, what arrives is the darker colored Oyster package that doesn't say anything about BPA free. The two packages both have Crown Prince "smoked oysters in olive oil" but still, they are different - and it's deceptive. I won't buy again. I'll eat them though, since I'm stuck overseas during a pandemic.
