This product was suggested to me by my homeopathic doctor to help my body build up immunity and help me get back to the baseline after having a horrid allergic reaction to antibiotic. I was hospitalized for 3 days and nearly died. Clearly Western medicine was being rejected by my body and I was at my wits end and truly terrified because I knew that the next allergic reaction might kill me.Now ... before you roll your eyes at the “homeopathic doctor” statement let me tell you that I have gone to regular doctors for 20+ years and have nothing but great things to say about them but overuse of antibiotics absolutely ruins your immunity and unfortunately that meant an increase in kidney infections for me. I was steadily killing my body with western treatment with no solution in sight.My body stopped responding to antibiotics and any typical drug-lead courses of medicine.I was prescribed this collagen as part of the homeopathic treatment in hopes of prompting my body to start healing itself inside out.It has been over 18 months since I had to take antibiotics. I kid you not, this collagen is LIFE ... My bloodwork is better. My infections have disappeared and, side bonus my hair and nails are so much stronger and shinier.I am a fan for life.The product itself dissolves well in water (becomes clear), has no taste (I’ve tried other marine collagen that reeked of fish and this has literally no smell to it). For me it went way beyond beauty ... it helped me get my body to the baseline and reset.I am a fan for life.

This product is great overall. Very fine powder. It is tasteless so you can mix it with anything! The only problem I have is when mixing with liquid. I would definitely mix it in 2 ounces of warm water first and then add to your cold drinks. This powder clumps together and is a little hard to get to dissolve if you are trying to use it in an already cold liquid. If you have the time to work around this issue, this is a great product!

My current favorite marine collagen. I’ve used this a number of times & am happy with the way it dissolves & tastes. Hardly any taste at all. It does dissolve well, but I give it some time to do so. I put it in a glass of water, stir it, & then leave it for awhile. It dissolves after a little time. Recently tried another brand & the taste was so horrible I had to throw it out & got this one again.

The smell and taste was not right. Didn't mix well into my morning coffee.

I found this hard to dissolve in cold liquids but will dissolve in a small amount of tepid water and then add cold liquid. (I use oatmilk). I have been taking it for 3 months and never want to stop. I had dry flaky skin and scalp, but now my scalp is healthy and people have noticed the difference in my skin.

I’ve invested in this product for 3+ years. It came highly recommended. So, in essence, Vital Nutrients wants their customer to blindly trust them with whatever is in their 10.58 oz of white powder that they claim is the same as the originalThe original is pictured on left and the new mystery product on the right.New ownership maybe ?Vital nutrients has always had an excellent product but this dishonest “replica” with the new label will have to rebuild its own good reputation…and an empty label with a higher price is not a very good startIt’s NOT “new label - same product”In fact we, the customer, really have no idea what’s in their newly labeled product … any guinea pigs out there willing to give it a try ???

no allergy found on other products for me. very easy to dissolve and swallow. good taste. very fine, light particles. i'm always gonna take this ever. it's one of my 3 favorite companies.(Pure encapsulations, Thorne research, Vital nutrients)
