WestcottiPoint Evolution Battery Operated Pencil Sharpener, Bright Green (15481)

This is a big clunky noisy sharpener that makes an unsatisfactory point - the shape of the point it makes is a little strange - the wood shaved part is very short compared to most pencil sharpeners. Also it often leaves curlings stuck on the shaved part that then have to be pulled off by hand. And, it takes up a ton of room on the desk. Where are the cool old Panasonic battery operated sharpeners of old? Sigh. This thing is a bit of a monster. Not recommended.

This is a good student type sharpener. compact size etc/ Do NOT use on colored pencils or professional art materials without extreme care.

Great little sharpener but the blades are not extremely sharp and chops the pencil at times.

I received the item but the motor did not work. I did not return it because I reused the good parts to fix the one I had already had that was broken.

After a week it stopped working. Contacted the company and the replaced it workout a problem. Here's to hoping the new one lasts longer.

I discovered that if you don't give it a star of some kind it will not accept your rating so I reluctantly give it one star. It doesn't work as in nada, zilch, nothing. Oh it makes a sound like it's working but nothing is happening. Hope you have better luck with yours.

Go for the plug-in version. Much more reliable & a great product. This one does not sharpen pencils the same way.
