CanonOffice Products CP1213DIII Desktop Printing Calculator, White, 6" x 11" x 17"

i work in a CPA office and these are the only calculators we will buy. They last a long time. If you know how to add by touch this is the calculator for you.

Simple design. Have used this adding machine for more than a decade. Purchased multiple times when reimbursed by previous employers, so it gets left behind. Dependable, sturdy, reliable and, relative to some, more straightforward in function. Worth the investment if the technology meets the need.

There is nothing to dislike about this calculator.

A real workhorse indeed. I've worked with one of these for more ten years and it's never let me down. It's sturdy and well made and doesn't have the toy-like pop off pieces that many less expensive calculators have. The display is easy to read and the buttons are just the right size for normal sized hands. The paper is also pretty easy to load, so no complaints whatsoever. Mine is pretty dirty though after 10 years of use, so I'm buying another!

I own and operate an accounting and tax practice. Hard to imagine, but Canon has actually improved the original CP1213D, which I've had in continued use for over 40 years. Slightly larger LED panel, which is a welcome change. Cleaner layout of exactly the same functions as the original CP1213D, which provides a more aesthetic presentation. Paper handling is much better with the external wire bracket, making the change of paper much easier than before. Also, the printer seems faster than the original. The most important thing to me is the touch... it's the Canon hallmark. The layout and touch are still amazing. Bottom line, it's a remarkable product, still.
