I keep a notebook and this pen on the other side of my bed. So many times through the night I will think of something to put on my to do list and there will be this very cool lighted pen so I don’t have to turn on an overhead light. Pen works great, and the light in it is perfect for my needs.

The pen lasted a long time due to it’s quality. The light is excellent and I would sometimes use it as a flashlight! The size of the pen is perfect and it is very easy to write with. It comes with refills and if you need more; the company will generously help you out. I love this pen and would be lost without it. It sits on my nightstand and is ready for any of my middle of the night thoughts! Rest assured that the company stands behind the product - the customer service is excellent!

It’s a nice pen but due to the size of the battery, it’s very thick. Might I suggest manufacturing one that more slender and using a AAAA battery.

Original review: Loved it for the five seconds it worked. Writes well, the red light was perfect. But I clicked it on and it worked once, then never again. I've replaced the battery and tried bypassing the switch to no avail, so the LED or driver must have immediately failed. I'm tempted to try another one but I'm reluctant to take another chance.Update: seller contacted me, replaced it, and the new one is fine. 5 stars for service, -1 for the original fail.

I am updating this review because of the excellent customer service. I reached out about my issue and they quickly sent me a replacement pen with a compensation package including an additional pen and refills. The new pens work great and are exactly what i wanted to be able to write at night without turning on the bedroom lights.I received the pen and it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. Twist open worked great and stayed open. One click for light at night was also good. The brightness choices were great for a dark room. However, after only using it a few times, the click button at the top stopped "clicking" some of the time . That is what is needed to keep the light on. I am happy with the pen, but there seems to be a quality issue with the way it works.

There are 2 features that I really like about this pen: 1) uses AAA battery, so batteries are easy to replace and 2) has a red light, which I have found to be easier on the eyes than white or blue light.

I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I just LOVE these pens! I bought one, then ended up buying 5 more! My friends find them very useful, as do I! Some people may say that the grip is thick, but that's what I like, too! They run on simple batteries, so you're not having to constantly recharge, and mess with chords and the like. The light is pretty healthy, AND it comes with a refill! It's reasonably priced, and a no brainer for me!
