Worth the money
Bag Boy has a long history of making golf pull/push carts which is why i bought the Quad. It was a present for my 9 y/o grandson. I was initially trying to find the junior version of this Quad cart but apparently they've quit making it. Only the adult size was available. As it turns out, this cart it PERFECT for a 9 y/o. The handle is adjustable to perfectly accommodate a 5' tall kid (even shorter I'm sure) AND it allows junior sized/length golf bag/clubs to fit easily. All in all, it's quality built and collapses easily to fit in trunk or back seat. Rolls super smooth. The umbrella holder will likely come in handy as well as the compartment to hold extra tees or whatever. Everything will be easily accessible making the round of golf more enjoyable... oh, and you don't have to carry a bag, duhhhh

Perfect choice. Well designed and priced.
Quick set up. Extremely sturdy, stable on hills, and handles well. Was undecided about three or four wheels and glad I chose this. Also folds up quickly and quite compactly. Surprisingly comfortable to push.

Perfect Golf Push Carts
My husband and I both have these carts and they are great. Easy to put together and they fold up quickly and easily. Easy to push on the golf course. Highly recommend.

LOVE it!!
This BagBoy Quad XL (in blue) replaced an old Sun Mountain whose plastic tab broke. It was an easy enough fix for the old Sun Mountain, replacement part would've only cost $12 BUT it would've cost $80-something to have it shipped to Hawaii ... no thank you to that! Instead decided to splurge on myself and get a new cart.I love love love the easy fold/unfold - fewer steps than my old cart. And it's so compact when folded, easily fits in the boot!! Out on the Course, it rolls great, is stable (read: doesn't get pushed over in the wind like some 3-wheeled carts do) and it has enough storage in the bag/card cubby for lots of little things for quick/easy use instead of rummaging through the bag for divot tools, markers, etc... It's also not heavy making it very easy to push/pull. The only thing I dislike about the cart is the umbrella holder which is in 2 pieces (1 screw and the umbrella holder itself) vs. the old Sun Mountain with the screw built in - I've decided to just leave the umbrella hold screwed and the cart still folds up nice without any issue.Would recommend to any golfer.

Great 4 wheeler!!!
After an in-depth review of the top 3 and 4 wheel trolleys, I went with the Quad XL and LOVE IT. For me, it came down I liked everything about this cart. But for me, the Top Lock sold me. I use a stand bag (Sun Mountain 2.5+) and it fits the best and most secure in this trolley. (It also fits great in the BB Nitron). I liked the simplicity and ease of opening/closing and I really like that on the Quad XL my bag sits up much straighter. I also looked seriously at the Clicker, SunMountain and for me, due to the weight, Top Lock, design, console and ability to easily add the sand/seed bottle, this was my top choice. (#2 was the Nitron and 3 was Sun Mountain, which I also really liked, but again like that the bag sits up straighter on the BB Quad XL. Thanks for a great product.

It is good, but I was expecting more. 3.5 if I am being honest.
I previously used a sun mountain cart and it is probably 12 years old. I really didn't have many issues with it, it still worked great, but just lacked a few of the improved features. This new bagboy:1) Has top-lok to work with my new bag. Best feature. No more twisting. Takes a second to drop it onto the cart. I know Sun Mountain has a locking system as well not available on my old pushy, but I went the BB route.2) Has slightly larger tires. It rolls a little better period. The old SM wheels were pretty small, which helped it fold smaller, but also took a little more oomph to get rolling.3) Has more storage with the under console bag. Again I know newer SM carts have this as well, so not sure if it is a big plus, but it sure is a plus over my older one.4) It folds a little quicker than my old SM, but not by much. However, the old SM is definitely smaller.5) The brake on my old SM was definitely better. This one is pretty loosey-goosey. It works on the course fine, but doesn't just lock up like the old SM quad. But when in the car, you want to engage the break to avoid it rolling around... well this one just has too much play that I keep looking back wondering if the break is even engaged at all.6) Umbrella holder. Why is there 400 turns to remove from the storage spot to the active spot? The old SM was about 1/8 the hassle. Granted, I generally just leave it in, but c'mon.7) TIPPY. Maybe worst design feature of this BB Cart. Make sure you have a foot down on the front tire or something when pulling your bag off. It tips over if you sneeze wrong unless you have a bag strapped in. And they have a phon holder right at the top... I've crashed my phone into the parking lot twice already while getting used to this thing. And of course everything in the storage console (aka: balls) goes rolling all over the parking lot.8) Main storage console is fine and comparable to my old SM. A little bigger even. But the pencil and card holder is a little lame I think. I liked the SM better. I especially liked the magnetized card holder of my old SM, vs this over-tight clipboard/wire holder that is too tight now and probably too loose in 3 years.9) Beverage holder works fine. But it is in the front of the console and close to the clubs overlapping. My old SM was better with the holder set up at the back by the handles. Lets for easier access, a more shock absorbent ride, and even a place to throw my range finder on the rare occasion a beer isn't sitting in it.Cripes, I guess with that much griping I should have gone Sun Mountain again, but whatever. I will give this a few seasons. And really it is a pretty darn nice set up. The few improvements (especially the top-lok) make it better overall. But I was expecting better over the 10+ y/o pushy I was using previously.

Light but Rugged
I had a Bag Boy 4-wheel push cart for about ten years until the solder gave way. I switched to an electric motor cart, which last two years and cost about $1200. I went back to the Bag Boy and I am glad I did. The 2024 version is lighter, folds and expands easier, and has a more intuitive brake. The accessory bag will securely hold your drink and has a slot for your mobile phone -- both improvements over the old model.I have a cart bag and a stand bag. The Bag Boy is specifically designed for a stand bag, but I usually play with my cart bag and it attaches securely and with no problem, even going over rough terrain. I wish I had never bought that electric cart, which was a waste of money. I highly recommend the Bag Boy 4-wheel.
