Zebra PenSarasa Clip Retractable Gel Pen, Bold Point, 1.0mm, Shiny Assorted Colors, 9-Pack

I love pens, first of all. And I buy a lot of them. I especially like metallic and sparkle, and I love lots of pigment. These are metallic, which is good, but they don't write as smoothly as I'd like. I bought a set of these at Michaels a month prior and returned them because the performance of the ball point was terrible. Ink line would break up, have to be started again and again. Two of them did not work at all. I thought maybe they were old, so I returned to Michael's and bought from Amazon. On the positive side, they are cheaper at Amazon by $4. But the performance, though better than the Michael's set, is not what it should be. Some of the pens, like the bright pink, purple, and silver, work well and give a good strong line. But others, especially the lighter colors, break up, act like they are drying up, even though they are new. I will keep because the price was good and I like some of the colors, but I wouldn't buy them again.

They write amazing and it's nice and smooth

The Zebra pen brand is one that I usually trust so I was pretty excited to see they offered pens in metallic colors. The colors are beautiful - not overly bright but more jewel-toned. I use them in my planner and in a journal with rather thin paper and the ink does not bleed through. They write very smoothly which is one of the reason I love this brand so much. The only downside is that the gold pen lasted for all of 3 words. I am not sure if it was dried out already or if it was clogged. So a little disappointed about, but overall I love these pens!

This pen brand I love it. They are smooth for writing, now I use it for my bullet journal and for studying language.

Nice colors; pens work well; not as metallic as other metallic pensI particularly wanted to use the silver and gold pens to write on colored note cards and envelopes. The ink barely showed up. I’d give four stars, except that this was the primary reason that I purchased the pens.

They dry up if I don't use

They don’t write well, they skip, the line is way too thin, and the ink is too light to write with. Maybe if you need light colors for coloring then they’d be okay, but I bought them to write in my planner and it looks terrible.

This is so incredible metallic color pens. Some people who gets these talking about " not work" is incorrect words.This pen should keep pen - head down. If you are not so, ink will not good pour when you start to use.

.I'm very disappointed! Pens are new and already dont write properly! They seem to dry up as we write with them. Not smooth at all, which surprises me considering I usually buy this brand of pens for how smooth they are.
