This styling wand is ah-mazing!!! My hair used to curl with no problem, but over the past few years, I can’t get it to hold a curl. I’ve tried hot rollers, curling irons and wands. Curls from the wands held the longest, but it still wasn’t all night, and I’d end up burning myself several times before I was done. THIS Sutra Beauty Styling Wand has seriously been a game changer. I spritz some spray gel on my hair when I get out of the shower (which I tried with the other appliances, to no avail) and then I let it dry on its own. (I could blow dry it, but I usually don’t.) Once my hair is dry, I can do my whole head in less than 30 minutes! That’s huge! I have a ton of thick hair, and it’s a pretty good length. It is crazy easy to use, and I don’t have to wear a special glove or worry about burning myself! Then, the best part, THE CURLS STAY UNTIL I WASH THEM OUT!! I’ve had so many people ask what I use to get my curls, and I direct them all to the Sutra Beauty Wand! Cannot rave enough!

I love the look of my hair when it's curled with a flat iron, but it always feels like my hair breaks and looks a little fried when I do that, so I try not to. I think it's because I press the plates together too hard and then pull. Recipe for hair damage.This thing is great because you don't have to squeeze the plates and it has the same effect. You might get some of those creases you'd get with a straightener. but I imagine that'll go away with practice.My only gripe is that the button is terrible and half the time it doesn't turn on or off, but it might just be my device, so I didn't take away any starts. I'm going to try to contact the company to see if they can help me. There are no more in stock otherwise I'd just exchange it.

Once I got the hang of this (the trick is to wrap your hair all the way around then pull), I do really like the curl effect. It’s also quick as I have long hair but I can style it quickly. The only reason I gave it only 3 stars is the placement of the on/off/temp control button. I’m constantly hitting it accidentally while using and holding it higher is hot. If that button was made a bit harder to accidentally hit, it would be perfect.

I love this curling iron, kind of pricey and works best if you have thinner and short hair

I have purchased many products to get nice curls so far this has been the best. I even bought the Tyme flat iron curler and this by far is better. I cannot stress how easy and awesome this wand is. It was super easy to use I got it instantly. The curls it makes are perfect. You will need to add some hairspray or something to get them to last all day, but I love to curl them one day and then wait till the next, after sleeping on them they are the perfect relaxed curl I love. I will say this would be difficult to use long hair, my hair is about shoulder length and it works well, I think with longer hair it would be harder to maneuver. I am very happy with this purchase.

A lot of reviews mentioned it was hard to learn how to use this, so I almost didn’t get it, but so glad I did!! I didn’t find it hard at all to use from the very first time. WAY easier than trying to curl hair with a flat iron (I never could get that technique down).I love the swivel cord, it heats fast, and the tips of the iron don’t get hot - so you can hold on to the tip while you’re curling. :)I have medium length hair and can create beach waves in 10 minutes flat. Curls last all day. Love this thing!!

Horrible. Will not curl my hair correctly. Do the same thing to different strands of hair and get completely different results. Mostly just straightens hair even after trying multiple techniques. Wanted to return but it’s been too long (took me a while to try it out). Waste of money.

This is an amazing wand! I have very long, fine hair and it curls it easily and holds so well, even without any styling products. Very happy with it after one use out of the box. It was quick and easy to to get beach waves. I was also able to get more curl by changing the length of time/angle I moved it down the section of hair. I’m sure the results will only get better with some practice!
