Full tang, solid, and gorgeous colors.
Very solid and love the shades of blue on wrapping and saya. I own several Musashi swords and now this is my second Tenryu sword. Couldn't be happier with how they both arrived. Can't find any flaws on either of them for this price point.

I liked the blue color
The box it came in was old, dusty. I liked the blue color, I was also surprised to see that it has real ray skin (not the best) on the handle. The bamboo pegs were not filed down to size, not a big deal. I could not bring myself to give it 5 stars on account that the blade is very dull! and failed a paper test, not a deal breaker but disappointing. for the price i paid it was a good deal....

It's okay.
Still have not found the blue I am looking for but after two tries, I will settle with what I have found. Onto the katana. First the Pros. It was only 47.00 with free shipping. The cobalt blue looks decent. The blade is straight. balance is good. I like the tsuba. It is full tang and not a rat tail.Cons... Small dent in the saya. Saya fitting is very loose and do not even think of slightly turning it upside down. It will come out. The blade was sharp but not sharp enough to cut paper. I had to touch it up some to accomplish that. The tsuba was very loose. It wobble 1/16 inch up, down, left, right. I was not going to tolerate that so I popped out the mekugi and slid the tsuka down a few inches. I applied a little adhesive but after resetting the tsuka I do not think that was needed. Whatever I did tightened it up properly. Putting the mekugi pins back in were a pain. The holes were drilled at an angle. the rear pin was not flush to start with and would not go back in all the way. I ended up sanding it down some with the dremal to make it look better. It did not come with a cloth bag.Now sure if it is a pro or con but the tsuka was tight and did not come off easily.Otherwise it is solid...well, at least it is now. This is my 11th katana and the first to have anything loose. You would probably not run into the loose tsuba as I did. Is it worth 47.00? Maybe if the dent was not there and the loose part. A little sharper blade. I would say it is more of a 40.00 katana. I really think that with the one I got it just happened to be a little flawed. As I said...I doubt you will run into the same issues. If I could give it 3.5 stars I would...but 4 stars with the minor issues would be pushing it. Look at the images and please...if they help you...vote or say you like them.BTW....the stand in the images did not come with the katana.
