I needed a chair that I could use at a desk that is fairly high off of the ground and this one fit the bill. I edit video and photos for hours at a time and needed a more ergonomic chair. This one looks like a much more expensive chair, but the price was right. I had purchased a similar Amazon chair for another desk and had been pleased, so I gave this one a go.I'm not sure why anyone would have a problems assembling this chair. It mostly just clicks together and has only 3 set of screws to attached the back, the back to the seat, and the seat to the base. No tools are required as the well-organized screw kit comes with the only hex key needed to turn the screws. Note the screws come with loctite already on them. It took me all but 10 minutes to put this chair together.The chair is perfectly comfortable for me. I am a 5'11" 200 pound male. The seat height adjusts easily and there is plenty of cushion. The arm rests are at a good position to be useable. Of course, the real test will be how my back feels after sitting in it for hours at a time, but so far so good. I'll update the review if there are any problems, but this seems like a very well-built, well-designed, "high" chair that should fit the bill quite nicely for me.

It arrived very fast, to Honolulu of all places, easy to assemble with good instructions. And after sitting in it, I find the mesh back very comfortable. Its also nice that the arms fold up as sometimes I am moving around a lot getting client files and this give me more room. Can't comment on durability as I just assembled it, but so far it seems like a very good chair for the price. It is not a super tall drafting chair, but goes up high enough that I can put my feet up on the internal bar of my lifting desk, so I can sit up higher, and it drops down to regular desk height, so I think its pretty durable, but if you are looking for a really tall drafting chair you might want to get a taller one. But overall, great chair for the price, fits all my needs. Thank you!

I purchased this item because it has a greater range of height adjustment, with 29.5" on the top end it really works great at an elevated work bench. The build instructions are complete, a few spare screws and such are included, and in 15 minutes it was up and ready for use. The seat and arm fabric are pretty nice, should make it last for some time, and the mesh back is sturdy enough for support and will be welcome on those hot days for ventilation. The arms can tilt back making it easy to set up for those moving in and out of the chair often situations. The only 2 downsides I can see with the product is that the seat cushion is not as stiff as a high end office chair, so using it for an 8 hour day seems like it may be an issue. I am 6' and about 170 pounds, and would like a little more support like those found in Steelcase and other serious office chairs. We will be using this chair (just ordered a second one) for a hobby room, so the back and forth to other work areas will make this fine for that use. The other issue is that at it's higher settings, and on a thinner firm carpet, the chair has a little stability issue - though without a ridiculously larger base and/or huge wheels, I'm not sure what you would do to engineer around that. I will take the height and a little wobble over those. Great chair!

I purchased this chair after looking at various options for sitting at a standing desk. I looked at a lot of different stools. I even used an old Cosco stool my grandfather left me. Th Cosco stool is good but after a few hours too hard.I read a lot of reviews and watched some YouTube videos and decided on a drafting chair. I wanted something that converts from desk height to stool height. I have a small space between my desk and the bed to put a stool. I also wanted a place to rest my feet so I don't feel like Charlie Brown.AssemblyIt took me about an hour to assemble this stool. I did this in a smaller space than normal and I am sure that added to the time. I have assembled quite a few Ikea products and this assemble much easier and quicker that those. Just be sure and match the letters on the hardware to the diagram in the instructions and not just jump in and start putting things together.UseThis chair has made it much easier to get through the day. I can sit comfortably while I work or I can stand and roll this to the side. Between the footrest on the chair and the footstool I can always find a comfortable position for my feet.ConclusionVery happy with this chair. I have also used it to practice calligraphy at my standing desk and this chair suppots that activity as well. This chair beats a stool as it has arm supports and a good back support. With proper supports for your feet you can easily spend hours in this chair and not feel cramped.

Prositive Side:Its a fantastic chair which is comfortable, aesthetic and of great quality. The quality is so great in fact, that you wouldn't believe it only costs around 110€ because the fabric feels extremely high quality and sturdy.Negative Side:When using the chair, it is practically impossible to put your feet on the ground, they have to be sitting on the bar to be comfortable, the chair is simply too high on its lowest setting. It can't be used as an office chair because it is too high. That is unless you have a height adjustable desk (which I have, which is the reason why I still gave the chair 5 stars)

Easy height adjustment from desk height (or maybe just a bit lower) to bar/counter height (or maybe just a bit higher). Shock seems strong to support raising and lowering, and no sinking over time. Arms flip up out of the way until you need them. Good back support. Good support for the feet with the height-adjustable ring at the bottom. No creaking or wobbles. Not hot to sit on for several hours. The back support in the lumbar/lower back area is perfect for me but it feels like it forces you slightly forward on the seat. So it would be extra perfect if the seat was just a bit deeper to give a bit more support to the upper thighs. Definitely not a deal breaker though but maybe take off 1/2 star. It’s a comfortable well-built chair for the $$.
