Good bulbs. Replaced old bulbs with these only to find that the zapper no longer worked due to a faulty component. Will keep bulbs as spares for a new zapper.

Black light UV light for fly catcher
Seems to do the job OK but I'd like to know if the effeciveness decreases over time like tube lights do

E27 metal base, but the ceramic too short and wide for FlyKillers
I bought this for a regular ( UK made ) professional insect electrocutor . It is complete useless. The base ceramic does not taper as the usual ones do and is therefore too wide to fit through the metal base and go fully home into the socket. It is also a little shorter than the normal fly killer 13W tubes. This is also a pity as it offers less surface for attracting insects.Take care when buying as it might not fit your device. If your E27 base is fully exposed and vibe then it should fit. Most Insect Killers seem to have them hidden for safety reasons

Slightly different shape
The shoulder on this product is slightly larger than the originals fitted in my fly killer.Had to modify fittings to allow these to fit.However, when fitted, they work fine
