The draw wire encoder is quite large and has a high quality aluminum housing. Excellent build quality!The linearity of the output is stable throughout the travel of the drawstring. With close to 80 inches of travel, this draw wire encoder (String-pot) can be used in a variety of applications where accurate position sensing is required.I'll be using this unit as a training aid to assist new electronics technicians with better understanding of how to perform slope/span calibrations to analog PLC inputs.
