I bought this used (as I do most things from amazon when it’s offered and the deal is good) for basically 10$. I’ve purchased many other frames from Amazon n gotten them used and from time to time there are a scratch or scrape here and there (nothing that bad) & it doesn’t really bother me for what I save but this has been the worst used frame I’ve ever gotten I opened it up and immediately broke it down to put the poster in it and then I noticed the one corner of it was unattached so I tried to put a couple small nails in it to which the compressed wood it’s made of split so I ended up having to put 4 small screws in it just to get it to hold together and you can see the crack from the front. After finishing I again went to insert my picture in it when I then noticed the bottom corner of the plexiglass/plastic was broken off which it was a big piece like 1 1/2 x 3 1/2in (the piece was still in the bottom of the box) as well as the top opposite corner had a 3in crack and not like a surface crack it was a crack that you could snap off barely touching it. So concerned that it wouldn’t be returned because of me fixing the corner of the wooden frame (which was broken when I opened it) I just laminated the one corner with the piece back on and then just covered the crack on the other corner with laminate on both sides. The point is all this just to get this frame to “usable condition” and though I’m now able to at least use it you can see right away looking at it the laminate on the two corners of the plexiglass. It doesn’t look terrible but that’s not the point if it was going to be resold it should have been in at least useable condition.

I purchased 3 of these frames for a set of posters I received last fall. All three arrived intact with no damage. It was straight forward to put together; undo tabs on backside, remove backer, remove film on both sides of the acrylic sheet, put the acrylic sheet back, add the poster and then put the backer back on and redo the tabs. The tolerances are surprisingly tight, so once the poster was placed, it wouldn't move unless I popped out the acrylic too. Speaking of, none of the 3 frames I received exhibited any blemishes on the acrylic. If I had to be critical of anything, it would be the tabs that hold the backer in place. They are metal and, while not sharp, they do dig into your fingers after the second poster or so. But at this price, it's hard to complain.

Product itself is great for the price. Frame is of a decent thickness making it look more "grown-up" than "college dorm."Issue is, as many have stated, that the item is very poorly packed for shipping. I've uploaded a photo of the product next to the shipping box which is about twice as big. It is not packed securely within this box, giving the frame plenty of room to be tossed around and get damaged. Mine had a few nicks on the corners that I was able to cover up with a sharpie, the most significant of which happened to be on the back.I'd definitely recommend this as it looks great and is an excellent value, but be prepared to return a damaged item or two.

I purchased this frame for a 24x18 puzzle. The frame border is thick and feels sturdy. The clear plastic front does have a some glare so be mindful of what you'll frame with it, however it is removable. The back plate is made of what seems to be particle board, with hanging hinges for both landscape and portrait orientations. My only hindrance was the puzzle did not fit exactly. Either the puzzle was slightly bigger or the frame was slightly smaller, I'm guessing the former. The size difference was only a couple mm so I was able to squeeze the puzzle inside the frame. The frame border is a little sleek, thick black that will fit cleanly on your wall and draws attention to the frame while also not drawing it away from the frames subject.

Provided these arrive without getting destroyed, you're getting an excellent value for your money. These are basically made of cardboard with an acrylic sheet to keep the poster in, but you really can't tell from over a foot away. I ordered four, and while they came with little packaging, the size of the box was sufficient for them to all arrive in near perfect condition. If you want to hang several posters but not spend sizable amounts of money on $30-40/e frames, these provide 95% of the looks for less than a fourth the cost. I do suggest ordering at least four to increase the chance they arrive intact (as other reviewers have often received a single in very poor condition), however, remember that Amazon has a no questions asked free return policy, so use that to it's fullest if you just need one.

I'm very happy with the frame. As others have said, the frame uses a sheet of plastic instead of glass. This isn't a deal breaker to me, and in fact, I recently purchased another frame on Amazon that did the same. This, however, is really thin plastic. Just be careful.Many reviewers complain that their frames arrived damaged. I can see why. The box it came in was really beat up. Though the frame, itself, was undamaged, I could have easily been one of the unlucky ones who received a damaged frame. The price on this frame can't be beat, so if you don't mind taking the gamble (and returning it in the event it's damaged), go ahead and buy it.

I am very happy with these for the price! No, they don't rival $50 frames, but the price is unbeatable. I ordered 3 frames and only one was a little bit banged up on the corner. Easy to disguise with sharpie and a little glue. I will order more.A note: the sticker on my frames was not on the "glass" (plexiglass?)--it's on an additional protective film around the glass. I thought the sticker referred to the plastic film around the whole frame, so I put it together then realized there was an additional film to take off. That was a little annoying.

The size and look was perfect but the plastic on the front that is supposed to protect your picture was damaged. I had a “Alexa do the laundry” specifically done in the 18x24 size so when i put the poster in I was not happy. The plastic covering Is also quite delicate in the fact that it could be easily marked if cleaning. We returned ours without a problem so seller is somebody i would buy from again. And if i dont find another one I would roll the dice and risk buying it again. Most likely the Id win the second round.

I got this to frame a poster I have been thumb-tacking to the wall since I was in high school, and this frame is great. It looks like it's good-quality, it has lots of fasteners to hold everything in place, and it's not heavy, so it can go on a shelf or on the wall. The glass is actually a sheet of plastic, but it's very clear and shiny; I won't replace it unless I decide to put in UV glass.
