BOSCH BC1047 QuietCast Premium Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Set - Compatible with Select Ford Escape; Mazda Tribute; Mercury Mariner; FRONT

These do not fit a 2012 Ford Escape. Does switched from steel caliper pistons to phenolic pistons around 2010. These pads only work on the steel caliper piston and will not fit from 2010-2012.

Installed these on a 2011 Ford Escape and they are absolutely awesome no noise, they stop the car immediately I slammed on the brakes hard to see how they reacted no hesitation! I will buy Bosch from now on!

I purchased May 26, 2022 and at the time it filtered to fit my '06 Ford Escape XLS 2.3L with Manual Transmission, Front Disc Brakes / Rear Drum Brakes. However, when I went to replace the brakes several months later, they did not fit, they are bigger pads, they will not fit into the caliper. As it turns out, these Bosch BC1047 do fit Ford Escapes, and would have fit an '06, but they must have all disc brakes (no drum brakes in the rear). I gave this 5 stars because the pads looked good, it came with new hardware and a high-temp grease packet in the box. I used different combinations in the vehicle filter and found that if the Ford Escape has rear drum brakes, it will tell you these pads are not a fit, so that's good.

Just like any other brake pads of this type, oem nothing performance about them, Seemed to be made correctly, was an exact size for the vehicle they where ordered for.

This pair of brake pads was easy to install. They are quiet and work great.

Brake pad is correct size but pad to caliper retainer is way too big to have any possibility to fit to the piston. So here I am with the car apart and JUNK parts again. I think I’ve learned my lesson on purchasing parts on Amazon

They work great. Replaced the front brakes on my 2012 Ford Escape and haven't had any issues.
