The package was ripped open and the product didn’t work !

I have not had any problems with this pen as of yet. I have been using it for about three months now. My students have dropped it several times and it still works. All the pens are still working as well. I have had one battery in it and it is still working. The occupational therapist that services the students at my school recommended I use this for my students with autism. She said it gives them some proprioceptive feedback to their hands, which in turn is supposed to help students have a better awareness of their hands and how hard they are pressing. Many of my students write lightly and have a hard time controlling a pencil. I have many different strategies I am using that target this issue, so I can't say whether this pen has helped. I can say that students do try really hard to control the pen which is a huge plus. They are capable of writing really small letters compared to the large letters they usually write. You would think it would be harder for them to write letters, but it is easier.

This was just as I remembered it as a kid. My 6 year old daughter loved it as well and it made for a great stocking stuffer. (We celebrate St. Nick in the beginning of December.) The inks write much smoother than I thought they would based off of the critical reviews.Just a heads up.... the color of the pen that you get varies... we happened to get a green one. Overall this is a great, and fun, buy.

My 4yo has fun with this. It was a Christmas present for him. He loves that it vibrates. The ink cartridges don't stay very well in the pen body unless you have it on the paper. We have already broke on of the ink cartridges. My son is rough on toys. Great for a child who is a little older or more gentle!

I bought this for a student with Autism as I was trying to use it as a tool for her occupational therapy. She presses too hard on the paper and this causes her to press a little lighter as she is more focused on holding the pen straight. It worked well at first, but then she dropped it and it broke. I can't afford to keep supplying her with these pens as they cost too much and are cheaply made. I will keep trying to find better solutions.

A lot of Family members just love this pen. It was a big hit with everyone last Thanksgiving. The kids loved how it makes squidly lines

My son uses a vibrating pen in OT for fine motor coordination and hand strengthening. This pen definitely has a wiggle to it. In fact, my hand hurt after using it for just a couple of minutes. It was fun to write with, and my child certainly enjoys it. It's not made of very thick plastic, pretty flimsy. Not sure how long it is going to last with continual use. The description says it comes with 5 refills, but our packaging only had 3. One already in the pen and two on the side. There was no other area for 2 additional refills to be, the product with shrink wrapped in that hard plastic shell casing. The ink does not write very dark, so again, not sure how long one refill will last. This pen will be fun while it lasts.

My kids are loving these! They are just like what I had as a kid so I love them too. The pens all work well and they are holding together even though my 3 year old has dropped hers a lot. My only complaint is that over time the pen cartridges start to slip out easily. It bothers me more than it bothers my kids though. Overall I would recommend them.
