i ordered this as a gift for my mom. she really likes it. since she is using a little differently i thought i would post a review for others. she is using it in crafts. specifically, in wreath making. she probably uses it for different tasks, but i know she uses it when working with those big rolls of mesh ribbon

I will be ordering the smaller needle, but this is great for rummage sales. The needle you get will leave a small hole in thin shirts. On tshirts, it works great if there is a tag...if not, I go through the thick part of the tshirt.I wish I would have gotten this YEARS ago

Sometimes gets jammed. Will not go through thick fabric. I bought it to attach clothing sets to sell at a yard sale and it worked fine most of the time.

Very good quality as always with Monarch. I tried another brand at store and had to return for jamming. This is well worth the money.

It does the job and doesn't get jammed as the cheaper models! Buy with confidence this model. Wish to be made by metal but today almost everything is plastic.
