You all just do not understand how excited I was to receive these and hang them up at work. This is great for information and celebration purposes. Hung them in the hallway all February for black history month! ADD TO CART!!

As a school teacher I wanted something for my class bulletin board, especially for Black History Month. Posters are large (12' x 17" each I think), very attractive, well printed on medium weight stock paper, making them durable (hope to use them again next year). I like the variety of subjects which includes contemporary (current and still living) people that my young students have heard of (examples - Oprah Winfrey and Obama). Great quality and worth the price.

I needed to update some resources so I bought these posters for my classroom. Several are posted on a wall in the classroom, and I've noticed students reading and discussing them, and they are asking me questions as well. That is great! However, I'm disappointed by the picture of Harriet Tubman. The photo is an enlarged version of the blurry photo you see of Ms. Tubman whenever you do a Google search for her.Also, Scholastic uses the phrase, "born a slave" instead of "born enslaved." Hopefully they are updating their posters so that the humanity is returned to the people who were enslaved.

I purchased this for my daughter who is 4th grade teacher and she loved it! The colors were so vibrant and the information was perfect for her students to learn and discuss. Would purchase again!
