The media could not be loaded. Update:I returned the “refurbished” lens from the first seller and spent 15 dollars more to get the last one available from 6ave (seller on Amazon). If you are going to buy this lens refurbished - look at “other options” and pay a little extra for the 6ave version!!!!Came in brand new packaging, completely sealed In perfect condition. Truly factory refurbished. The only thing that points out this is a refurb is a small sticker on the box.The lens looks, feels, and performs like brand new. This lens is a beast! Truthfully If you have a canon R10/R7 this is a must have!!Pros: Image stabilization works great: focus ring is smooth but still tight. Feels great in your hands. Solid build quality. Almost silent AF.Cons: a bit heavy. Image stabilization creates an audible noise - sounds like gears turning. For stills it’s no issue, for video some mics pickup the noise. Some people report dust getting into the lens and after about a year the lens becoming rather loose. I can confirm this after the first refurbished lens I purchased from Amazon because it was very loose.All in all - wonderful lens. The cons are extremely easy to work with. Just be sure to bring a lighter lens for paid shoots and avoid using this lens is windy, dusty environment.Review from previous Seller ( I would give them zero stars and the 6ave a sixth start if I could! )This only applies the the first seller:I ordered two lenses. Both EF-S, both USM. Different sellers. Both like new description. One came in canon packaging and was truly like new. Indistinguishable from a new product in fact.Mind you both lenses are of equal “value”. Both cost the same off amazon, normal MSRP wasn’t too far off. I have purchased almost every single lens I own off Amazon renewed. Every single one that was like new description, was very close if not identical to the condition of the lens that came in canon packaging…I expected this lens to come in similar condition… not even close. It came in “fair” condition at best and arrived damaged.Auto focus doesn’t work. The USM focus is almost louder than STM. The focus ring is extremely loose. IS doesn’t function properly either. This lens is nowhere near like new and was one of the higher cost Amazon renewed models for the EF-S 17mm-55mm F2.8. It also arrived in a fabric pouch with a generic lens cap. This was intended to be my everyday lens… so I am very disappointed.I will update my review if I’m able to return lens for a truly like new lens. If the seller doesn’t have truly like new products and provides a full refund I will also update my review. I’m sure they will sort things out Amazon sellers usually are pretty good about that.

There was nothing to dislike.I used it for an array of projects.

I bought this lens to use on a brand new Blackmagic 6K pro. I found a good deal on a "renewed" lens that looks like new. I've only used if for 2 shoots but it's worked well under those conditions.

This was an early Christmas gift for daughter. She never imagined she’d own this. Fabulous photos of peek Autumn pics and Aurora Borealis from Wisconsin vacation!

I was pleasantly surprised to see my pkg arrive early and the lens I ordered in excellent condition

The lens is really good if you only do photography. The IS has a constant little noise when you have the live view on, even my external mic on top of the camera was able to catch the noise throughout my videos, I had to return it.

I love this lens. The image stabilizer really does wonders for my photos and I love that I can zoom in more than my other lenses.
