Most comfortable but not the most durable.
Edges can come unglued if gel shift from excessive weight causing gel to stick out. Can be kinda sticky but only happens when the user leans consistently on the edge over time.

go for the cheaper version
I have been using Fellowes gel wrist rests for years (the flexible ones without a solic plastic base) and I like them very much. This one appears different but when I got it it seems identical to the less expensive version. I feel silly paying the extra money for the anti-microbial aspect, since I suspect that's hoo-haa anyway.I bought it because it looked as though it were shaped slightly differently, but it's not. Stick with the $17 version.

Best of those I've tried so far
I put in a lot of hours in front of my keyboard and a wrist rest is an absolute necessity. Of all of those I've tried, this one is the best.Problems with other wrist rests include that they pop open at the seams and the gel goo comes out, that the wrist rest deforms in the areas where I regularly put my wrists, etc. This wrist rest has none of these problems.

It's good, not perfect.
I bought this August 2007 and it lasted until March 2008, before the seams popped on me, and now it's leaking goo.I used it everyday at work, and even would transport it with me to other offices because I liked it so much, which could have led to the seams coming apart.Wish that it lasted longer than 8 months.

This is great support for my wrist
Exactly what I needed to use with my laptop. I had carpal tunnel surgery years ago (probably from grading so many papers), and my wrist gets very tired at times. This is great support for my wrist.

Okay
It was okay but wasn't the right length for what I was looking for. I guess that happens so I will just make do with it. Thanks

Too hard for carpal tunnel sensitive person
The wrist pad is tooo hard for me to use. I feel like I have large bruises on all contact points when using this wrist pad. I don't find the flat wrist pad ergonomic at all since there are no contours to provide the desired relief. If you have already had nerve issues I do not recommend this one.
