Perfect!
Package arrived on time. Opened it installed the product and was hoping for the best. I've trouble shot all the electrical system and change everything related to a no start no crank. Installed the part and it fired right up and ran perfect . I've been without my truck for going on 4 months. Thanks for supplying the cure to a long headache .

If theft light gives code 11, this is what you need
Before I start this part fits a lot of vehicles. My 2002 Ford ranger XLT3.0 AT,grove it home 1 evening,parked Came back out the next morning to go to work and it would not start it would not crank Nothing. Being old school I assumed it was either the starter or the battery. So I checked the fuses,good, checked the stater relay,good then checked voltage at battery and it was around 10.5 and 4 years old, so I bought another battery and still no start. Replaced ignition swith,no start, then neutral safety switch, no start.Tested starter this was good then realized my theft/PATS light was blinking. Did research on how to find code and, code 11 it was. Bought this, it fit perfect and my truck started right upBuy it, there was nothing wrong with the wiring, it is a genuine ford part , matching # to the original and fit perfect.

If you are having trouble with THEFT light (code 12 or 11) this is not the one, get something else on EBAY.Having code 16? Try to change the computer relay(close to the gas pump relay.You welcome.

Well after waiting almost 3.5 was part came and the plug has been manufactured backwards won't fit,un real and it is a ford product beware.

Great Genuine Product
Had a long lasting issue with my original transponder that led to the theft light blinking repeatedly when I’d try to start my 2001 Ford Explorer Sport (the two door Explorer). It got so bad my Explorer simply would not start for some time. This part fixed it instantly. Super easy to install if you know how to get your kick panel off and get into your steering column. Great quality product that I’ve had zero issues with so far. Not once have I had that blinking theft light issue since I installed this part.

Drop in OEM replacement
It came sealed in the Ford dealer packaging. OEM replacement, exact match for my 2001 Ranger. Pretty easy install, plug and play. Just needed to remove the cover on the steering column and underside of the dash. Search youtube for videos on releasing the ignition assembly.
