Medline Pediatric Wheelchair for Children - Promoting Comfort and Mobility, 14”W x 12”D Seat

This little wheelchair is perfect for our five year old! It was partially put together in the box, just needed to snap on the arms and leg pieces. It seemed to be missing a brace bar on the bottom (showed in the instructions) but he’s pretty light if we need to tilt back - there is a large loose seatbelt that you’ll need to wrangle with and locking brakes - the child handles it very well, we usually push him but it didn’t take him long at all to learn how to go forward, back and do a 180. Easy to collapse. Very grateful to have found this at a great price to get him as mobile as possible while healing.

My g daughter broke her leg and we needed to get her mobile!! This was a perfect fit for her. It is light weight and easy to get in and out of the car. The color brightened up her day, too. It came in a timely manner and the price was good, too!!

I bought this wheelchair as a temporary chair until my grandson gets a custom wheelchair for his specific needs. I have to say this is a very nice wheelchair, well made, very nice swing away elevating footrests, seat belt, elevating handles for the person pushing the wheelchair, and desk length arm rests that fold back out of the way. If you need a good basic wheelchair for your child who doesn't need customization, I highly recommend.

I was worried that the chair was going to be too big or too small. My six year olddaughter is 3.75 feet tall and weighs about 45 pounds. She was able to reach both tires and maneuver around her school independently. It fit perfectly under her first grade desk, so no transfer to a chair necessary. The chair comes fully assembled right out of the box. The handlebars are adjustable as well as the leg props can be extended for taller children.Overall, she loved her chair during the short time that she needed it (4weeks) money absolutely well spent!!

Other than the broken seatbelt.....it is a great little chair. The back is adjustable up and down to accommodate growth, the push handles are also adjustable. the height of the chair came set at the lower height, it can be adjusted higher on the big wheels, the leg rest can also be extended for growth. The seat is really roomy, I can fit in it comfortably, but I am petite. This is not as small as some have reviewed, considering the adjustability of it. It is a true 14", I think some bought a 12" model not realizing how small it was.

This wheelchair was an absolute lifesaver when traveling overseas with our family. It folds incredibly easily, was relatively comfortable with our child’s wheelchair cushion added to the seat, and held up beautifully despite lots of rolling over cobblestones and getting in and out of vehicles. So grateful that this product was created!

Box was ripped, had an hole, and was substantially dented when it arrived. When we opened it there was paint that looked like it had been gouged and painted over! Sooooo weird! I called CS to try and get it replaced, as you can imagine I was nervous about what else might be wrong with it- I was told it wasn’t eligible for a refund or replacement. The handles that you push with have been wonky since day one, as they don’t stay up even when screwed incredibly tight. The seat is starting to rip near the front right connection point. I’m disappointed in the quality and condition it arrived in, and DISGUSTED by Amazon not offering a replacement/refund for a damaged wheelchair!

My six year old broke both bones in his leg and was unable to use crutches without them hurting or him feeling unstable. We used this chair all day every day for months and it has held up amazingly well. So worth the investment!
