Q: Does this cover hold only the clubs or the entire bag?

It held my entire bag. I have an ogio stand bag, from like '07-'08. It's pretty vanilla, but it had just enough amount of space. I was able to pack all 14 clubs, a few extra wedges, 2 pair of shoes, and a few miscellaneous. If your bag is bigger then the standard stand bag, it'll be a little snug, if not too snug to fit. It should fit all the newer standard stand bags, but just keep in mind that not all stand bags are designed the same. Some newer bags are a bit oversized. I cant say for sure, but carry, cart, and staff bags, might be a little big for this product, so i wouldnt recommend it. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Q: Has anyone had any issues with checking this bag as one of your two allowed on Southwest?

I have had no issues traveling. JetBlue and delta so far so good. Golf bags go in cargo and should tell you on there website or call. Anyhow this bag is awesome. I love it

Q: The airlines are quite rough and throw bags around. Will my driver end up getting bent since the case is soft?

I have 2 carbon drivers and they made it fine. The bag has the 2 adjustable clips on the upper portion which cinches around the bag and clubs pretty tightly to protect the clubs. The bend from being soft is mainly when pulling the bag on the wheels through the airport, but wasn't too much of a bother for me. I would highly recommend if you're going to lock your bag (recommended anyway) then purchase a TSA approved lock. It has a master key slot for them so they can inspect if necessary and (hopefully) put it back on. Safe travels!
