CaddyDaddy Golf CDX-10 Golf Bag Travel Cover

I got this bag out of the need of a wheeled bag to carry my swords, helmet, and other assorted HEMA gear. The swords and whatnot being made from powerful steel isn’t light, and so after months of hand carrying them with the gray bag (pictured inside the roll bag) I caved in and went to buy a roll bag. I found this bag because of its good reviews and great price, and immediately bought it. To my surprise, it’s well padded on the back (meaning padded inside the main storage compartment facing the floor when you’re wheeling the bag around) so you won’t have to worry about drops! also the main compartment IS SPACIOUS. I’ve fit all my gear in, the helmet, gray bag filled with assorted gear, a buckler, a longsword, an arming sword and I still feel like I can fit more stuff! That said, I still haven’t filled the side pockets, so more unused space! And the material seems durable though time will tell, as I use it. At touch the material feels like it’s strong enough for day to day as long as nothing sharp or jagged catches on to it. All and all I highly recommend this bag for any HEMA fencers looking for a roll bag on a budget, this is a great buy! If I find any issues with it I’ll update this, but for now, I’m greatly satisfied!

Perfect bag for moderate golf travel. I travel with my clubs around 4 times a year which I guess equates to about 15 different airplanes my clubs get banged around in. Never a scratch or rip to the bag. I have long clubs and they fit snugly and have never been damaged. Tons of storage and very heavy duty straps. Wheels work better than the ones on my normal luggage. Obviously nothing is going to beet the security of a hard shell case but for my needs that would be overkill. Additionally, this bag folds up really small and doesn't take up an entire attic or garage shelf like a hard shell would.

I live in Hawaii and received this travel bag 1 week after ordering (awesome). My initial assessment was "this bag is a beast". My stand bag with a 44" driver fit with a lot of room to spare. This bag could probably fit 2 pairs of shoes, 2 dozen golf balls and a case of beer along with my 15 clubs =). The fabric feels very sturdy and thick. The 2 wheels will come in very handy commuting from the car to the airlines. I like the extra padding at the top and reinforced rear. My local Roger Dunn has comparable travel bags but with a $100 price tag so the cost was exceptional.This is a "pre trip" review so until I send my sticks through TSA, I won't have a baseline. Right now this travel bag meets my expectations.

I've traveled with this bag and checked it probably 6-8 different flights and it still looks brand new. It's extremely durable and provides enough protection for my liking. I do tend to wrap the heads of my clubs with a towel or some sort of extra padding just for some extra protection. I'm sure it would be just fine without, but I figure it keeps my clubs a little more secure and it takes very little effort to add it. It offers plenty of other storage throughout different pockets around the bag. I can fit all my golf clothes and shoes and everything all in this bag and leave my suitcase for my regular clothes. I'd be shocked if you can find a better bag for a better price!

Avid golfer who LOVES his gear. I did some serious research (ie. brand, price, material, construction). My main concern was whether or not this travel bag will provide optimal protection for my clubs when I'm traveling with them. Needless to say, this bag surpassed my expectations. Plenty of storage space to fit my stand bag, shoes and additional gear. Convenient to carry/roll to your destination. Secure enough to protect your clubs from harm. Price is crazy good compared to popular brands...and I'm a brand snob. Note: Being overly protective of my gear...other measures were taken to secure the safety of my clubs. I also bought the Club Glove Stiff Arm to protect my woods, which I think is a mandatory purchase with this bag. I wrapped a towel in between my irons to stop it from 'clanking'. For piece-of-mind, I wrapped the top third of the bag with small fleece blanket for added protection.

After over 11 years this bag is still protecting my clubs and gear! Excellent club storage, generous pockets, balanced weight, and strong well placed handles!

Good bad. Padding is light. Only padding at top near club heads. Rest of bag is similar to hockey bag. Have flown a few times with checking this bag and it works well and does protects clubs. Stuff bag with towels and you are good to go. Lot of extra room for shoes or clothes. North Pole is a must. Rolling wheels are really helpful

Have used this several times. Bag held up well. Holds plenty: golf clubs, shoes, enough clothes for 5 night golf trip. Was able to keep under the airlines 40lb limit so counts as just 1 checked bag. Had a small issue with the included pole. The pole top cracked a bit but was quickly replaced by the seller with a new reinforced pole top that they are now shipping at no charge. Great customer service.
