though the size of this is stated in the product description nonetheless i was surprised how much we received for the money. comes with an attached spray nozzle so no need for an additional sprayer. safe on paint which was one thing we wanted to make sure was the case. we used it around our house perimeter, round all the window frames to keep primarily spiders out. we don't have issues with other critters just spiders so this is a great product for a very good price. fyi to supplement we did also get some sticky pads ALAZCO 6 Glue Traps - Excellent Quality Glue Boards Mouse Trap Bugs Insects Spiders Cockroaches Mice Trapper & Monitor NON-TOXIC to add another layer of protection. those we just lay flat on the inside of our window boxes. they work well catching anything that might make its way past the ortho barrier. fyi last year doing the same routine only three dead spiders made it past to the sticky pads.

We have used Home Defense for several years. It works fantastic inside and out. No more spiders bugs or even flies. It is a wonder!!

This stuff works well! I lived in several places where there were lots of little critters and the Home Defense really does work. In several houses that I've lived in, there have been really damp and nasty basements. We'd get tons and tons of spiders and some other creepy things. I have used the granules making perimeters around the base of the house but that never seemed to abate the critters.I've used Home Defense for years from a friend's recommendation. If sprayed outside, the product lasts about 3 months (due to weather). However, it will last about 12 months if sprayed indoors. I usually spray around spring time when bugs and spiders tend to proliferate and the product is freshly laid around the perimeters of the house. Once I've sprayed the house inside and out I don't usually spray again for another 8-12 months depending on if I see critters again.Now, you really should be careful that you spray carefully around perimeter openings to your home such as window sills, the entry doors, openings of vents and pipes coming out of your house. The product is safe for humans but it stands to say that this is a chemical and if sprayed inside it's common sense to take care with it.I strongly recommend this product as it simply works and I see results. The evidence that this works is all of the dead, shriveled spiders and bugs around the windows, and corners of the the basement!

This product works very well to keep ants, spiders, wasps, etc. out of my house.

I've lost track of how many different brands of bug sprays I've tried, some on the cheaper end, some not so much. I've always wound up coming back to Ortho. It almost always gives consistent results and kills all those annoying little ants (good grief have they been bad this year, it's even made the news), spiders and other miscellaneous bugs we find throughout the house. Some might argue that this stuff is over priced, but from my experience I feel that Ortho knows what they're doing. As for the claim that it kills stuff for a couple of months I can't say that it's 100% true. I find myself applying on a monthly basis on average, but I understand that a lot of it has to do with the way I apply it around the house and the fact that bugs are just everywhere, I don't think any pesticide will really kill everything all the time but I think Ortho does enough of a good job to merit the 5 star review.

I have been using for years , I swear by this stuff. Absolutely the best product ever!My momma lives in rural area , and told me this stuff was best , so I always spray outside house and inside every few months , when lived in a complex with close neighbors and pest control twice a year, I would tell pest control I didn't need them , I would go years never seeing insects , exactly how we like it!No spider , no centipedes , not what I use for ants , but if you are like me , and HATE creepy crawling things , spray this and NO WORRIES!!!

Does what it says- kills bugs dead.After going through the epic flood here in Louisiana recently, the bugs decided to head inside just in case it flooded again...Yeah...friggin bugs everywhere.We bought two gallons of this and started by spraying outside around the house and in the eaves first.Then we started spraying around the inside to get the spiders, roaches, and ants that decided to hang out without paying rent for the space they occupied...Well....they're dead now. Every Ant, Uncle, and baby cousin of the insect world that moved inside...Dead...It's a bit lonely now without them crawling over my computer desk...I named a few, and even tried to warn them of what was coming so they could get out before it all went down, but they didn't...Timmy's gone...so is little Tina with the missing little leg...Little Tina and Timmy...gone because of Ortho...

Early summer and in the Fall I spray the entire foundation to keep out bugs. Itm works and is easy to do!
