Works Great!
Looks and functions just as described. Used to pack hot food in am for lunch and worked perfectly. Looks good, no odor, holds 2 cups easily, soup was piping hot when put in thermos and still piping hot when opened 4 1/2 hours later. Did not leak during transport. Would definitely buy again.

what a gem
So here is my take after using this gem a few times......It is a great size, seals very well, a nice grippy bottom, mouth size nice, comes with a foldable metal spoon, and stable. But what I'm really excited about is what happened today. Just before leaving for work at 8 I set some soup on the stove to boil and put some really hot water in the thermos. when the soup was ready, I emptied the water filled with the soup and put the 'stopper' top on tightly and then the 'cup' on. Threw it into my bag and went to work. Due to some unforeseen happenings I didn't get my lunch break til after 1. I opened the thermos and figured its been 5 hours the reviews I've read has said "still warm after 5 hours" so expected a warm soup, but was I in for a huge surprise and burned my tongue!! Took me a while to finish off half of it at the rate of a spoon full and blow method. . Closed it back up tightly and threw it into my bag. Fast forward after 3 more hours of work and two hours of tutoring (bag in my car with temps in the mid 30's) and a half hour ride home, I opened it to clean it and low and behold the soup is still warm!!!! I was amazed as it had sat open at least 20 minutes as I ate and then half full for over 5 more hours. I think that "Santa" is going to be bringing some of these gems to family and friends!!!!

Actually keeps food hot
I used it a lot when I was on the road all day. Super easy to use and clean.A couple of times I set up the container with soup at 5:00 am and didn’t get to eat it until 5:00 pm—it was still warm! If used at lunchtime, the soup was still hot. It’s leak proof tooWorks great with soup, mashed potatoes and vegetablesI would love another one that is wider for other foods

I like it
I really like it, you need to follow instructions in order to keep your food hot. You need to boil water and put it in the container and close the lid. Leave it there for 5 or 10 minutes; in the meantime heat your food really good. Empty water and add food. If your food is warm, it will keep it warms for 6/7 hours, if your food is hot then it will keep it hot for that long.Size wise, it’s small, enough for me, but if you are a big guy, then you might need to or find a bigger one.

The media could not be loaded. I I’m in love with this product it keeps the kids food hot and they say it’s too hot for them to eat so they have to wait for it to cool down and they are in fifth and seventh grade and 1in 9th Grade and dishwasher safe and now we have 6 in black and comes with a spoon the lid is amazing and easy to open, but it doesn’t let water spilled because seal and you can take it anywhere and the Weight is like 0 pounds we have been using them for 6 years

Teens' lunches stay HOT in lunch bag with ice block!
I have 3 of these for my sons in high school. They LOVE the food jars because their food stays hot til lunchtime (I prep them with hot water like the instructions recommend). The built-in spoon works great, and the wide opening makes it easy to eat from. This holds quite a lot of food. What works for me:- I use a glass measuring cup to microwave water 2 mins while I start heating boys' lunches on the stove. Carefully pour the hot water into the food jar and screw on the top. Microwave (or boil) more water as needed to fill the jar, and allow hot water to stay in the jar for 10 minutes.- Once I have their food nice & hot, I pour the hot water from the food jars into a pitcher (to use later, cause it's good water), and immediately put in the hot food and seal with the lids.- If placing in a lunch bag with an ice block, stand the ice block up on one side of the bag. Place cold drink, yogurt, etc up against the block, and place the hot food jar on the opposite side of the bag. I try to keep it from touching the cold items by sticking dry snacks in between, but I honestly don't think it's necessary.- I've put chicken & rice, ramen, mac & cheese, and shrimp scampi in these, and all were still hot and tasty at lunchtime.

Thermos
I bought this for my kids lunch. I was skeptical at first but it keeps their lunch warm till it is their lunch time. They love taking warm food from home for their lunches. It wasn't to expensive. I would buy again.

Black lining peels off & gets everywhere!
This product does exactly what it’s supposed to do - it keeps hot food hot the entire day. My child uses two for school lunches. She has no problem at 11 unscrewing it. It’s kept soup, chicken, mashed potatoes - just about anything you can want for lunch steaming hot during the 5 hours between it being packed & her lunch. I didn’t read the label to see if it was dishwasher safe but I can see the answer is no. The black coating is peeling off in tiny pieces all over my house. It’s aesthetically awful but it still keeps the food hot so it gets 3 stars for that. My kid may look a bit homeless having lunch now but she says it tastes good & the PTA has stopped hitting me up for money so maybe it’s a blessing in disguise? 🥸
