Really grew on me with it's versatility
This review is coming from someone who is a bit of a concealed carry gearhead. When I first received the Sticky Holster AnkleBiter I admit that was a bit hesitant at first on such a unique ankle holster system where you wrap a separate sticky holster around your leg. First off, I already own the Desantis Apache ankle holster for all my sub-compact pistols and highly recommend that product. With that being said, what drew me to this particular ankle rig is that it is a universal carry system where the ankle wrap can accommodate just about any pistol given you have the proper pocket/IWB sticky holster to go with the ankle wrap.In practice, I found that the AnkleBiter is just a tad bit thicker and bulkier than traditional ankle holsters but that is to be expected because you are wrapping the strap around your leg and once more around your holstered firearm. It is not too big of a difference but something to be aware of. The AnkleBiter comes with an optional velcro retention strap which I like and use most of the time, and comes with an extender so you can wrap around your boots, cankles for larger folks, or even add a magazine pouch around your leg.Initially I found the AnkleBiter usually taking a backseat to my preferred Desantis Apache ankle holster, but I began to warm up to it when I realized that I had the option of now carrying on my ankle but could easily change my carry system by removing the pocket/IWB holster from the wrap and tucking the gun onto my waist or in my pocket. I also found the AnkleBiter very comfortable, especially with smaller guns like the Ruger LCP. Using the AnkleBiter for larger sub-compacts like the Glock 26 is doable but I recommend wearing boots with, because the AnkleBiter has no calf strap you can add onto so it can move around and slide down a bit with larger sub-compacts.In conclusion, the Sticky Holster AnkleBiter is a decent comfortable ankle rig at a good price compared to it's competitors, but it shines in the fact that it is a universal carry system so it's great if you own multiple pocket sized pistols and can even substitute other things like spare magazines to carry on your ankle instead.

Comfortable, sorta bulky, but REALLY needs a calf strap
it really is comfortable given that it has the layer of protection below the holster...then the holster. It really doesn't "flop around" given that the strap goes OVER the holster - this and Remora are the only two I've seen do that.I've tried ankle carry with a j frame .357 , my Glocks, even a little NAA Guardian .380...and every other holster I tried either got sent back or thrown into the "holster tub" and forgotten. I never thought I'd try it again.I did try this - and it IS more comfortable. Yes, it's bulky, but with dress slacks (the only time I'd need an ankle holster) it works fine. What DOES NOT WORK HOWEVER, is the way it slides down the ankle to the shoetop. The "shows" the gun to anyone when walking and when I sit my slacks ride up and then it's over. I work as a financial advisor and it would be career suicide to get canned for what I would if I wore this at work without a calf strap. No matter how tight I tighten the ankle rig...I can't go 50 yards before it's sitting on top of my dress shoe. I am up/down/all over my building all day. No way I can use this rig if I'm going to scare the ladies I run across in the copy room or on the stairway between floors. It really needs a calf strap.I emailed Sticky Holsters - fast response, very nice, but alas....No calf strap available. SO...it may go back. (thanks Amazon Prime!) or I may keep it if I can buy and "mod" a strap from someone else. Time will tell on that one.

Couldn’t get it to fit - Returned
Love my original Sticky Holster, just couldn’t get the AnkleBiter to work on my leg.

Love the holster.
I have been using this for a few weeks now almost daily to carry a Glock g42. I have worn it with and without boots. This is a very comfortable way to carry. The wide band helps distribute the weight of the gun. The gun stays in place even with vigorous activity like running/ crawling around on hands/knees. I have used it with a Remora holster, a smooth leather holster and an Uncle Mikes pocket holster, they have all stayed in place and at the cant that I set them too. I have also carried with and with out the included retention strap. For the retention strap I had to fold the section that goes under the gun since it is fairly long to accommodate larger guns as well, so that it would not stick out past the pants cuff and that worked great. I live in TX and even with high Temps/Humidity the host never allowed any moisture to get to the gun although I was drenched with sweat and my socks were wet the holster was dry.I think this is a great option. It does add the bulk to the side of your ankle but if you are wearing a normal cut of pants and not the skinny leg typr then you have to know what you are looking at to realize that there is something there. All in all I really love the holster and would buy it again.Pros:Very ComfortablePrevents moisture from reaching gunGuns stays in placeVelcro is very "Sticky"Cons:This may or may not be a CON to some but I wish that the padding was just a little thicker to absorb the pressure of the gun muzzle, but it is not bad enough for me to say it is a negative, just more of a personal preference.

Too many straps and bad design
First off, the fact that the strap is called a "holster" is very misleading. You assume it can hold your gun, until you read the info inside the packaging stating you need to purchase the actual holster in addition to the holster I'm holding in my hand. How many straps, velcro, holsters is necessary for a single strap design?! On my way to return now.
