Let the Printing Begin!
I received this as Christmas present and officially have become obsessed!! I have the Mini 8 camera as well and the picture quality is comparable. The printer is simple to use -- just put in the batteries (provided), load the film, download the InstaxShare app and your ready to go. The app gives you the ability to rotate, zoom in/out, and adjust the picture as necessary. Also, you can add a template or filter. My phone easily detects the printer and I have never experience a problem. The pictures will come out a little white washed but this is intentional to give it that polaroid feel -- so the pictures looks like they came from a camera and not a printer (definitely a feature I love). The only con I've found is that the batteries aren't a standard size, CR2, so I don't know how difficult they will be to replace. There also is the option to purchase the adapter charger cord -- I've seen a couple floating around Amazon for about $10.Besides that I absolutely love this printer. Printing becomes super addictive quickly. I've found myself running thorough a lot more film than usual and thought I would share this tip -- that I wish someone would have told me sooner. I normally purchase the rainbow film because I feel with the generic white film the white board can become overwhelming and take away from the picture. However, the white border film is half the price. The solution is Sticker Borders they run about $10 for 60 stickers. They are easy to apply and bring needed life to the plan white borders. Also they lead to you saving a lot of money on film.Hope you love your printer as much as I do!

This little printer is quite adorable and so easy to use
This little printer is quite adorable and so easy to use. My daughter requested this for her birthday so she could decorate her dorm room with little pictures all over and this is perfect. She loves the selections of film that you can purchase for this because they are decorative. It worked easily right out of the box and she has had no problems. She enjoys the small size of the prints because she is wanting them for decorating purposes and not to frame and put on the wall. The prints in this are tiny but I was impressed with the quality from something so tiny and portable. She loves that she can just carry this with her wherever if she wants and be able to print out pictures. She likes this because she can print whatever pictures from her phone and not have to worry about carrying an actual camera around with her so if she doesn't bring the printer she will still have the option to print the pictures at a later time.

Amazing!
Works great, and is super fun! Absolutely worth the money. My only tip is to always edit your photos and always pick the "Intelligence Filter" under "Edit" -> "Filters" before you hit Print. Polaroid pictures are almost always over-exposed and super bright, and by picking the Intelligence Filter, it saturates the photo, darkens the contrast, and lowers the exposure so it comes out perfect. However, if your photo is, say, taken outdoors in bright sunlight, you may want to use an app such as Afterlight or VSCO Cam and manually reduce the Brightness and Exposure, as well as up the Contrast and Saturation. It all depends on whether you like your photos as Retro and over-exposed, or if you like your photos as crisp as possible (although this is Instant Film, and you won't ever get insanely crisp photos).Lastly, it's best to zoom in as much as you can. Faces and other details that are further away may end up indiscernible.Happy printing!

Great Product
Stopped working after 8 months so i returned it...but for the time it was working it was really amazing.Picture Quality- Awesome. They are as crisp as can be and the colors are perfect. I could not tell a difference between the prints and seeing the pictures on my phone. This is key for me! I did a comparison between the Fujifilm prints and the Polaroid Zink paper. On the Zink paper the colors are way off and the picture is distorted.Picture Size- The pictures are a bit small but not in a bad way. Because they are the that old school Polaroid style, there is space that the white border takes up. Also, these pictures are a bit thick, not like a classic picture at all. This is only an issue if you regularly keep a travel book and are putting all of these thick little pictures in it.Portability- Very light. Small enough that you can toss it into any purse or bag but it's too big for your pocket.Picture Price- Even with the best deal these pictures end up being about $1 dollar each and you run through them very quickly. The other products sell their pictures for about half that price but they are not the same quality.Battery- This is the truly bad thing about this model. It is not rechargeable. You have to get those little CR 2 (i think) batteries which can really be a hassle.

Tough decision between the instax camera and this printer
I had a hard time deciding whether or not I wanted to go with a Fuji Instax Mini camera, or this printer. Mainly my concern for the camera itself was that the images would be twice as bad, as far as image quality, since they were produced by an instant camera and on instant film. In the end I decided that I would go with the printer. I transferred images I took with other cameras to my phone and went from there. It is a lot faster to save them to your phone gallery than to print them from the Social Media option (namely Facebook). It wasn't terribly slow, but it was pretty instant from my phone's gallery. It is easy to load, easy to use and the images are quite good for instant film like this. My girls and I went through a whole pack of film last night and absolutely love them. The black and white images (quite nice) printed better than the color images. But they weren't terrible, just softly washed out. Of course, the bolder the image color you print makes a difference. The images I chose to print were very sharp, and printed nicely. This was a very fun purchase. I would absolutely buy it again if I needed to.
