Need this for all those struggling with dandruff!
I tried many different shampoos for the stubborn dandruff I have had over the past 10+ years... I tried all the prescription shampoos from my doctor and everything over the counter in both MD and PA until I finally found this miracle saver! It does smell like tar. Put this on your scalp and use your nails to massage it into the problem areas (for me it is the top of my head and right above my neckline). I do this 2-3 times per week (I wash my hair nightly), and then wash my hair with regular shampoo afterwards (I use Biolage) and this gets the tar smell out of my hair. Make sure you scrub scrub scrub with your nails in those problem spots and you’ll see a MAJOR difference in a handful of washes. I’ve been using this product for 4+ years now and I swear by it. My dandruff is completely gone thanks to this, so I am a religious purchaser of the shampoo and I still use it 2-3 times per week as a preventative.

Works on stubborn psoriasis other shampoos wouldn't touch
This is a medicated shampoo for dealing with psoriasis, so the normal attributes of shampoos don't really apply. It has the highest percentage of coal tar (the active ingredient) I've found. It works. It doesn't smell great, but it works. I do wish they'd release this without the conditioner added; my hair doesn't need any additional oil in it.

Good Stuff
It must be used regularly for maximum effectiveness. It has an interesting non-floral odor.

Abhorrent Smell
I have no idea if this product works or not because the smell is so overpowering I will never try to use it on my head. I had to wrap it up in three bags and throw it out then wait 5 days while burning candles and spraying scents everywhere to get the smell to diminish. It's been over a week and I can still taste it in my mouth (no, I did not eat it, I only took the protective seal off to release the Pandora's box of ungodly smells).
