Holds strong for work holding while machining parts.
I recently bought this to machine a part that could not be easily held on my lathe faceplate. I used this tape to mount the item on my faceplate and machined it using shallow cuts. I did center drill the part and hold it against the face plate with a live center to keep it from flying out if the tape failed. I have also used it to hold a part that was difficult to hold while milling. Oxtools has a YouTube video that shows how to use this product on the lathe, it does work. You need to tap the tape with a small hammer to break open the glue cells to really make it stick well, and you need alchohol to get the tape to release after machining it.

Great stuff for hobby milling on small machines
This stuff is amazing. I got it because it was recommended by the manufacturer of my tiny desktop CnC machine (Othermill). It definitely works great to hold down copper clad PCB blanks, as well as Hammond aluminum enclosures during the milling process. It's also very easy to work with, and the non-stick release paper on the back side is so convenient.

Back to superglue.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but this tape is not keeping blanks secure. The surface is flat and clean, and I've applied pressure, but it still doesn't work. I saw Mike use something similar on "Craft Supplies USA." He's wonderful to watch turn wood on his YouTube channel. I suggest watching it. I, Mr. Zumunda, am nowhere as talented, so it might be user error. That's why I give this four stars, because I'm sure I'm responsible for the errors. Other users say its the bees knees. So if they could elaborate more on how to use it i will take it or it will just become fly paper for my workshop. I dont realy like flys, flies come into contact with a range of harmful bacteria such as Salmonella and E.coli. Because of this, house flies will often aid the spread of these bacteria passing them onto us by contaminating things, such as food and cooking utensils. Nasyt things.

Excellent for CNC "Hold Down"
I have been looking for Permacel tape ever since Boeing surplus closed it's doors years ago. I had a pretty good stockpile of end rolls from the used tape box in that massive building but they are gone. This tape is the same thing or a perfect replica. I use it for CNC hold downs. It is pressure sensitive, has excellent hold down capability, and does not ball up and turn to goo when you attempt to pull it off the part, like many resin based "tapes".

Might as well use Vaseline!
This tape s*cks, should stick instead.Does not hold ring blanks to the waste block no matter how I prep.

Deceivingly strong.
Doesn't look strong at all. Looks almost cheap. But don't let it fool you. It holds like a mother. It's thin, too. I was previously using some 3M double sided tape that has a definite thickness to it. In many areas this may not be desirable. This stuff is almost scientifically impossible. Super thin, unbelievably strong. But you pay a penny for it, I guess.

Best tape I’ve found for CNC milling
Best tape I’ve found for CNC milling. Holds my sterling silver and 14k gold sheet in place we’ll for cutting. Tiny pieces still go flying, so it’s not perfect, but it is so much better than others I’ve tried. Doesn’t gum up the cutter as bad either.

Great double sided tape... that performs as expected
I bought this to replace a roll of the "LLPT" tape (that I returned to Amazon immediately. That stuff was worthless... would barely stick to anything at all> This Nitto tape is working well for holding down parts on my CNC router.
