I bought this with so much hope that it was going to work for me. The paper is thick but it ghosts so bad for the weight of the paper. The ghosting in my pictures is from simple Staedler and Micro fine liners. If the paper can't handle them, it won't handle much of anything else. I'm super disappointed as I now have a useless book.

I needed an inexpensive journal so when I saw this for only a little over $8 here on Amazon I gave it a try.I've used it with graphite pencil, crayola markers, colored pencils, brush pen, fountain pen ink, light watercolor washes and sketches. Of course the paper buckled from the water but still happy with the result. I could still use the back of the paper so I don't waste a single page. It's a good starter art journal, and the elastic band helps.

Awesome sketchbook! Used it for quite some time as it was cute and portable, however, I wish it had sturdier paper. Yes I understand its a sketchbook and I used it for watercolor and markers instead, but I wish the paper was sturdier. Even for sketching, the paper seems too flimsy and weak for me personally.

Olive green is more yellow green than what is displayed in the picture (Still nice colour though). Logo on back was not centred. Cover is soft and paper is good thickness.
