Quality Control Issues
This is my 3rd EGR screen and my last one. The original lasted 11-years. It was great. This is my second EGR installation during 2023. The materials of construction are brittle and prone to breakage. The last screen was overheated during storage and badly distorted making alignment a problem. I was always very happy with EGR products but that has changed. Spend a little more and buy something with a better fit and materials fit for the application. If this one lasts 6-months I'll be very surprised.

Quality control?
Cant select 0 stars. The item I received was not to my expectations. One of the mounting tabs was folded in forming. How did this pass an inspection?

I would buy again
I installed this on my 2017 Ram 3500. I would have given it 5 stars but, there were two slightly different sets of installation instructions and the holes where the clips attach seemed to be off by 1/32 of an inch. There is a small bump in the hood which falls right where the tape and clips should go. The tape was easy to install once I realized where the clips had to go. I had to pull on the ends of shield while my wife started the screws. Once installed the shield is solid and looks good. This is my second EGR shield. I would still recommend it to my friends
