Perfect for beginners!
I love this pen! I'm just getting into hand lettering and this pen is perfect. Easy to control, comfortable to hold and has a nice brush tip.

Excellent Pen, my New Best Friend
This pen has made me fall in love with calligraphy all over again, if falling in love with a hobby is possible. I love how the tip makes beautiful letters with just the right amount of thickness on the downstrokes of letters. I will be ordering this open again when the ink runs dry!

Nice flow when writing, but concerned a bit about the tip durability...
This pen has a nice and consistent flow when writing to give a unique style when in use with lettering work. However, it's the pin tip that I am concerned about-- after just one short use it seems to have a slight bend to it at the end that I'm concerned about it getting more pronounced with each use. Right now it doesn't appear to affect the flow or appearance when writing, but it's the concern of how quickly over time this may change and result in not producing the same written flow or style. Overall, I do like the pen for how it glides smoothly over paper when writing and allowing for little details in lettering work that isn't as easy to achieve with other pen tip styles firm or soft.

Pretty good
Very smooth and professional, but it dries up quite quickly.

So where is the Brush tip in this Pen?
It isn't really a brush pen! If you are looking for a pen that has paint brush-like hairs, this isn't it. It is closer to a felt tip marker. And the body of the pen looks exactly like the Pentel Brush Sign Pen Artist SESF30C (which has synthetic brush hairs) except the head which you can't see in this product photo because the cap is on! I recommend the SESF30C. It is a fabulous brush pen.

Nice pen
I just started doing calligraphy when I got this pen, and it is great! It can produce a thin line when you don't put much pressure on it, but it can also produce a rather thick line when you put more pressure on it. I've been using this for around 6 months, and it hasn't dried out. The only thing that I can complain about is that I have other pens that produce a much deeper black than this one, but aside from that, this is a great pen!

I’m using this pen for art, and it’s very fun to use! It can make a simple thing look very intricate and skilled, I used it to draw mr freeze a little while ago

Pen was good while it had ink, but dried up quickly
I bought my first versions of the pen in an stationary store. They seemed to last longer. The two pens I purchased seemed to run out of ink very quickly. I would not buy them again online.
