Check for Blow fuses also.
worked great. Installed a while ago. The only thing I would recommend is make sure you check the fuse going to the high voltage copastor. I am guessing when these things short out it blows the fuse. on my GE model it was inside of the white case. took me a minute to figure out why it was not working. the main board fuse was fine. thanks for a great replacement part saved me hundreds on a new microwave.

It brought my microwave back to life
Replaced the magnetron in a 6 year old LG lmv1762st microwave. I was getting continuity between the terminals and case in the old one and microwave wasn’t heating. This new one seems to be working fine once installed.Be aware that in addition to the dangers of high voltage stored in the capacitor, there could be Beryllium in the white or pink ceramic piece that sticks out of the magnetron. Don’t damage that piece and consider wearing a respirator.
