High Quality OEM Part for Whirlpool Microwave. It's a Cooking SPEED DEMON now!!
Our Whirlpool microwave suddenly died. After troubleshooting, I discovered that the magnetron tube had failed. It also damaged the output transformer, capacitor, and the diode in the process.I wasn't sure where I'd get replacements then thought, "Of course... Amazon!" Yep. There they were at an excellent price and ready to ship. This capacitor arrived after a few days with everything else. I installed the parts in a just a few minutes and I'm happy to report that our microwave works better than it had for at least a year! This Microwave Oven Capacitor is a great value and exactly like the OEM part -- same physical size, and output rating. Very easy to install with NO problems at all. Great seller, excellent product, and very fast shipping! I highly recommend this seller and this replacement part.

Exact fit and works great
My microwave blew the fuse while cooking last week. When I replaced the fuse all appeared normal until I entered the time to cook and pressed start. The new fuse blew immediately. After some research and testing, I determined the capacitor was shorted and needed replacement. This capacitor was a direct replacement and works great. The microwave I used it in is a KitchenAid model: KHMS2040BSS-1. Be sure to determine the size of the connection tabs on the original capacitor as they come in two sizes, (1/4" and 3/16"). For this unit to be plug and play, you need to determine this before ordering. This project is not for every do it yourself homeowner. I am an electrician so I knew how to determine the problem and fix it. We saved hundreds of dollars on buying a new microwave, and even a repairman could not fix it. Very happy to have found the part on Amazon as KitchenAid/Whirlpool were not helpful.

Works and fits great for my older Frigidaire microwave
I have a 12 year old Frigidaire microwave and the inline fuse blew so there was no power at all. I checked the fuse and it was indeed blown but I knew from reading online that most likely there was something else wrong with the microwave. So I replaced the ceramic fuse and the microwave display came on but when I tried to use it, the fuse blew again. I checked the parts and the capacitor was dead. I have a 2300V, 1.0 mF capacitor with 1/4" terminals. This cap is 2100V so I wasn't sure if it would work. So far everything seems to work fine so hopefully the smaller voltage won't affect the lifespan of the capacitor or the magnetron. Be sure to check the size of the terminals of your capacitor to make sure this one fits. There is 1/4" and 3/16". You probably know this but be sure to discharge the capacitor with a resistor before working on it. There are many videos on youtube about discharging a capacitor with a resistor. Capacitors can hold very high voltages and thus can be very dangerous so be careful.

Wouldn't work for my microwave
This wouldn't work for my microwave. It only has two terminals on each side, and my microwave requires three wires to be hooked up to one of the sides. So, pay attention to the number of terminals that you need.

Saved big bucks
Microwave oven blew fuse and quit working. Traced problem to bad capacitor. Replaced and microwave works good as new. Saved me from having to buy a new microwave oven.
