500 watts is a little misleading...
I've owned tons of Behringer equipment, and it is the best 'bang for the buck'. However, with this PA amp, the power rating was a little misleading. They boast '500 watts'. Well, it's 500 watts 'peak', but the RMS rating is more like 125 watts per speaker (250 watts RMS total). I was wandering why is didn't blast my speakers out like a true 500 wat RMS amp should work. When I looked very closely at the documentation, there was an asterisk noting that the power was "maximum'.... hence, not RMS. It's still a good sounding PA head but I'll have to keep it in the basement for rehearsals etc. I don't think it will cut the mustard on a live gig. The second thing I was a little disappointed with, is that it has no 'monitor send' jack where I can send a signal to my hot-spot monitor. This means if I use this on a live gig, I'll have to place the speakers in such a way that I can monitor everything directly through the main speakers. Again, not a show stopper for me. I've decided to keep it because of the great price and good tone. However, I'll need to go back into shopping mode to find a PA head that will actually do what I want it to do.

Small and Night - but get's it right!
It is a pretty decent powered mixer for the $$. Not a ton of juice, but if you need to run a small PA or some monitors it is pretty clean. Nice effects and EQ on board which can really help to clean up the sound... Over-all...I think it's pretty darn good for the cost...around $200...

Just what I needed
I needed a good receiver to power 4 passive 15in subwoofers. After reading several reviews I bought the Behringer. So glad I did. I connect my phone using the 3mm to 1/4 inch cables…..this uses 2 ports. Or I can connect through a Bluetooth connection using 1 port. Overall the sound is clear and crisp and the bass is wall rattling. All I need when tailgating is this receiver, my phone, and a speaker or 2
