More robust than I expected
Was not expecting them to be so rugged I bought because I needed a way to warn others to not start not needing to sign and give further information I was needing something that could be used over and over and this is IT!!!!

recommended item
These tags are thick and withstand the elements so outside use is not a problem. They also stand out and can not be missed with the bright red and white color combination. The words are clear and they are printed well. Anyone who sees these will know to avoid the item they are attached to. We were discussing these tags and someone who cannot read & write would still be able to recognize the meaning of these tags because we saw that firsthand. He has a brilliant cousin who owns his own business and is very successful in our community but he cannot read or write- not even his own name, and he came here to do some work for us one day recently and saw these tags on some work mowers my husband is repairing and asked "what is dangerous with that thing?" so he knew what the danger sign looked like even though he couldn't read it and that sparked our attention as to how effective these tags are. 5 full stars for this one.*If this review helped you make an informed choice about this product in any way I would appreciate it if you take a moment of your time and let me know by hitting the Helpful button and letting me know. Exactly what I was was needed!
Exactly what I needed. I am using this tag to put on an outside spigot that leaks. I need to remind them NOT TO USE IT! Thanks! -

Heavy duty and reusable
Easy to use and reuse and at $1 each you may want to reuse them.... A wax pencil works well with these although I just put my name on one and leave the date blank, it is not normal for my building to have more than one piece of equipment down any given time and when something goes go down it is usually repaired no later than next day. These are heavy duty and unaffected by moisture or water but will break if bent hard enough. A worthwhile addition to the OSHA lockout tagout kit

OSHA Standard approved!
These tags are heavy duty! Great quality! They're used for our company's heavy equipment when necessary. It's important to properly lock out any equipment needing maintenance, and to do it properly. These tags are part of that procedure. These can be used over and over again because they're a thick, sturdy, hard plastic that's durable."The OSHA standard for The Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout/Tagout), Title 29 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 1910.147, addresses the practices and procedures necessary to disable machinery or equipment, thereby preventing the release of hazardous energy while employees perform servicing and maintenance"

Heavy-duty DANGER is great if something is wrong with your car or truck
Heavy-duty DANGER is great if something is wrong with your car or truck. Heavy-duty DANGER - do not operate tags are made from impact resistant plastic that resists moisture and most chemicals and is suitable for indoor/outdoor use. Tags meet OSHA requirements for durability and the 50 lb pull strength. A good caution for people approaching a dangerous situation.

sturdy plastic lockout tags; look like they will last for a long time
These attention-getting are so useful in settings where you need to be able to alert people to avoid using certain equipment. You can write on them with a dry erase marker or grease pencil, and reuse them multiple times. They are made of fairly thick stock and nicely laminated -- they look like they would hold up well to use in an industrial setting.
