Dragon Ball Z Master Stars Piece the Son Gokou Action Figure, Japan Import

I just can't find enough good things to say about this figure. WOW! I knew when I ordered this figure it was going to be awesome. Somehow I was still quite surprised. This is a huge figure! The paint job / detail is extraordinary. It certainly has some heft to it and it's quite sturdy and very solid. The likeness to Goku is spot on. His lighter colors are based on the color manga artwork. The figure comes in two pieces; the upper torso, and the legs. It then snaps together snugly. It also has a little clear base that fits onto the foot. It's not entirely necessary, but it adds extra support for standing it up. If you are unaware of what makes this piece so unique, do some research. It's very interesting! I have quite a few DBZ collectibles but none compare to this piece. At this price it's a perfect deal! Since this is a prize redemption figure, it's more than likely going to become harder to find and go up in price. Do yourself a favor and pick up this amazing figure. You won't be disappointed. (And if you somehow are, you're a fool!) It's without a doubt my prized possession! :)

What can i say but great job Banpresto!! Goku in this pose is awesome the look he give is so cool. If there was one thing that I did notice that i did find kinda off was his skin tone he look a little burnt (red hue). Beside that I still love this statue.

This figure is incredible. The price was remarkable for the quality of figure. Its huge! The level of detail is superb as well. I would recommend this to ANY dragon ball z fan as it is one of the best figures for Dragon Ball Z out there. I can't wait till the Vegeta one comes out in march!

I was super (pun intended) excited to get this figure but was very disappointed with the paint quality. Everything is over saturated. The skin color is an orange tan color and way to dark and the clothes also seem off. The shading on the skin tones just make it look dirty. Goku looks like he has mud in his ears. My biggest complaint is with the hair color. It is this gross pale yellow brown green color that just ruins the while figure. Go with the new paint version instead of this one. I'm going to attempt to repaint mine so it may be a good option if you want to customize it yourself.

This statue has incredible detail and after reading a couple reviews i was worried that he might look too dark but its not that bad when you stand him by vegeta from the same series he looks very good overall its an amazing statue for the price!

The statue is amazing pretty heavy and tall worth the money the design and quality 5 stars.

Apparently he likes to hang out on the beach because he is so much darker than regular Goku. I kinda wish I had gotten the newer repaint version. Well made, but his skin is too dark like they got carried away with the shading.
