The best every day pen I own.
I've wanted a Retro 51 rollerball pen for many years but never got around to actually buying one. When I saw the "Dmitri" w/the periodic chart displayed along it's length, I had to own it. The pen would make a wonderful gift. The packaging makes it very giftable. The pen itself is so smooth to use. It will become the reached-for writing instrument in the house. The entire line of products from Retro 51 are the essence of quality at reasonable prices. Truly a value for the money.

Love my Geeky Pen!
I love all my Retro 51 pens......and this one is at the top of the list. But then my Halloween costume was Madame Curie with the periodic chart entry for radium taped to my back......Seems like the price for the pen refills came down.....making it even better!

I Love Retro!
I am a collector of Retro 51 rollerballs and some of their fountain pens -- I have about 30 of their pens. I like rollerball pens because they generally write smoothly and you don't have the hassle that FPens often present. The Retro rollerball series are wonderfully creative writing instruments. This pen with the periodic table of elements is colorful and would make a wonderful gift for a science teacher or any lover of science.

Another A+ for Retro
This was a purchase for my daughter who absolutely loves it. She loves the geeky style of this one. She has used it so much that ran out of ink within a week of receiving it. She and I are big fans of Retro 1951s, owning quite a number. Can't go wrong with the style, durability, and comfort of one of these pens.

It’s fantastic!
I wish I had this pen when I was taking Chemistry so many years ago. I love the whole periodic table of the elements on the pen. The pen is on the heavy side so one might get tired when writing with this pen for long periods of time. The rollerball is great. The pen writes smoothly as the rollerball glides across the paper. There is nothing to dislike about using this pen. If a rollerball isn’t something that you like to write with, the pen will take Parker ballpoint pen refills. I don’t think you will want to change to a ballpoint pen when you discover haw the rollerball glides across the paper.
