My favorite SOHO router for 14 years...
I've been using Draytek since 2002, both in Europe and here in the USA, so I'm speaking from lots of experience. I've set these routers up for both my own use, and for small business -- using both the "teleworker" and LAN-LAN VPN capabilities. You're buying a solid piece of equipment with tons of capability at a decent price point. More functionality than Netgear, Belkin and D-link (although more expensive), but half the price of Cisco routers with similar capability.I'm only touching on a couple of features -- the complete list is huge.Set-up is easy. There are a couple of "wizards" to help you, but I just grabbed the controls and configured it via the various menus. The 2925 has a much improved management interface compared to my old 2110 -- the previous one was functional, but the new one is more informative and easier to read.I particularly like the stateful packet inspection firewall capability which includes blocking for tons of "dodgy" protocols, as well as DOS protection. There are two USB ports. You can attach a USB drive to share over your LAN. There's also a simple print server so you can share a printer not having network interface without having to have a PC booted to host it. One issue I've found though is the bi-directional support doesn't work for my Canon MP960i printer. Although jobs print just fine, the printer status monitor on the PC says "no connection". Annoying, but not a show-stopper.Draytek are great at keeping issuing periodic firmware upgrades for both bug-fix and security enhancements, along with occasional new functionality -- so keep an eye out for those.

Not for the inexperienced!
I've never seen a more confusing interface in my life. I'm a Network Engineer, and have configured thousands of routers in 23 years. This thing makes the very simple very confusing. If you've not been in IT for a long time and have very advanced knowledge of networking, you will be lost in no time. I had a problem with configuring the VPN and port forwarding so they would not conflict with each other and reached out to their "support", which is just email and they promise a 24 hour turnaround. Not exactly support in my book. Not only that, but when they do get to you, they ask more questions than they have answers. This went on for three days before I said screw it and sent it back. There are lots of routers out there - pass on this one.

Good product - these guys are under-rated
Good product - these guys are under-rated. Draytek stuff offers a lot of great Layer 3 flexibility if you know what you are doing.

3 month in and so far so good!
This is really a nice piece of equipment. The interface is well laid out and feature rich. I needed a router/firewall that did NOT have a wireless transceiver and this model fits the bill. I have had a number of other dedicated FW/routers that over a period of time simply die or start acting unpredictably, and while I've only had this unit for about 3 months my impression is very good - it feels like a commercial grade product. I would definitely recommend this unit.

Very good. Interface is simple, can do up to 50 simultaneous VPN tunnels - 10 second boot up time.
Very good. Interface is simple, can do up to 50 simultaneous VPN tunnels. One thing I love about this router is that it has like a 10 second boot up time. If you flip the switch to ON from being off, it takes less than 10 seconds to fully boot...have never seen that before, most equipment is like 1-2 full minutes to boot.

Best fallover switch/router
It's hard to find a reasonably priced fallover switch. But this one is great and easy to setup.

Great replacement for CiscoSB dual-WAN router
Replaced Cisco RV320. Connected to two DSL lines. Easy to set up with intuitive web interface. User VPN works with VPN Tracker 8. Pleased with security features. Our overall WAN performance improved greatly.
