I only use Canon products on my Canon printer
Canon is my go-to for printing. I do a ton of printing for work (I work remotely at home), and Canon has always been my favorite brand. I've not had good luck with the other brands, so tend to stick with Canon. I also only use Canon ink in my Canon printer - and I go through a lot of ink. I get these ink cartridges all the time, and they've never let me down. Plus these large size tanks actually last quite a long time - or maybe not time, but for a lot of pages printed. Highly recommended.

Maxify- they really mean it.
I recently got a Canon Maxify printer,ย CANON MAXIFY iB4020 Wireless Small Office Printer ย and as usual, first thing I did was check ink prices. I found the tanks for these printers were huge, but cost less than what it would have been to re-ink my 14 year old HP or for that matter even any other contemporary brand. Less, in fact- my HP's black was around $45- though it had a life of heavy use, it still only averaged about 2 months. Given the output of today's typical disposable printers it always seemed superior, and it looked as if the Canon would be even better than that. It was clearly a lot more ink for the money judging by weight alone- the "setup" tanks that came with the printer weighed 3.4 oz, the new ones 4.8 oz. Even if based on that I think I can expect a lot more output per fill than any printer I have yet used. And the setup tanks (just the black for this review; the color are still barely below half) gave me three months of heavy printing, almost 2 reams on all varieties of paper before the low ink warning showed. I ordered these tanks and kept printing, that was a week ago, and I am still not needing to install the new one yet. Yes, it would be difficult but not unreasonable to wait until they run dry before writing to about them, but if they remain even half again as long in service as the typically nearly-empty setup ones, I would expect the pair of these should be enough to last the rest of the year.If you suspect that I love this printer, you are correct. If you are checking reviews of ink before you buy, as I have often done, I hope I can convince you to give the Maxify series of Canon printers serious consideration, based just on the cost per copy you could do far, far worse.

Great Ink Tanks
I print at home quite a bit as my wife is a writer and has completed some 8 books. All are fiction romance novels some having more than 500 pages 8.5" X 11". My wife printed most of her books so that she would have a paper copy and even with all that printing the tank is now just about empty. I believe we printed more than 4500 pages on a single tank. There are those tanks that are the third party but I always purchase name brands so that I will not have printhead problems. I have found that non-brand cartridges/tanks seldom work very well. The problem in most cases is that the cartridge/tank registers empty when it has at least 30% left inside.

Ink works like it supposed to

Reasonable ink, could last longer.
For the cost I wish these inks would perform a bit better. That said the black ink is far more superior than the trio of color inks that are part of the CANON printer requirements (Those do poorly and last for a short time).
