Great for sailing!
I was hesitant to buy this drink holder due to the mixed reviews, but I am so glad I did! It’s perfect for our sailboat and hangs perfectly off the lifeline. It keeps our drinks steady when the sailboat heels. The only thing I added to make the drinks more secure is a simple foam coozie. Then the drink sits nice and snug. My only concern is that there is no provision supplied ...
My only concern is that there is no provision supplied against having someone bumping them upward off the lifeline and into the water. I imagine they will sink and be gone.

Pretty Expensive, and drinks are not really secure
This is an expensive piece of plastic, but we end up not using them because drinks can slip out and the holder slides along the rail.

Not deep enough to hold bottle securely
Was excited about getting these. But found out that they are too shallow. Would have been better if there was more room between the base and the upper ring. We had to return them
