Great lead
I really like this lead - just a utility user and not an artist. I forgot that these tubes have a twist-to-open top instead of a pull or flip cap...glad I didn't destroy the container before I remembered that.

Soft dark color. Resists breakage.
ordered .9 B color. spendy, but perfect for my reminder notes and doodles. Using my Pentel graph and Staedtler .9 pencils loaded with B Pentel Stein is quite satisfying.

These are well made leads and they are in an attractive carrying case.
I do a lot of writing and I prefer a darker lead than some and 2B lead definitely fills that bill very well. The strength of the lead is also important and this lead has that. Leads that at are easily broken are not conducive to writing with any continuity. These fit that bill well. The case the leads come in is attractive and easy to get your leads out. Like most lead holders, this one will hold more than comes in it. You can combine two holders and put it into one holder for more compact solution. This is important when you are traveling or going to school and don’t want all the bulk of multiple containers to deal with. So this fills all the blanks I need. It can for you as well.

High quality lead refills
Its nice and soft and makes nice dark lines. Softer for writing on all types of paper. I can see how it would be good for newspaper crosswords.

Good soft lead
This lead is dark and soft and it’s nice to write with. There is a lead that is even darker but I will also be using these. Price will determine which one I end up using.
