This Dust Extractor Splitter Works Well
If you need a y-port to allow two people to use a tool needing dust extraction on a project, this is an excellent product. Is it over priced? Yes, it is. Does it work very well? Yes, it does. In my experience two people can work 2 sanders and the dust extractor keeps up on both devices. The product doesn’t leak and fit snugly in or on their ports.

Works great but price is way too high. I believe it is the only size that fits the dust collector

Much nicer product than I expected.
This adapter allows me to hook 2 vacuums to a single tool like my portable table saw or to hook one vacuum to a tool needing suction at 2 locations like my router table. Expensive but no one else makes this. It comes with a 2 1/4” outer diameter single end and 2 - 2 1/2” outer diameter ends on the Y. Hate the price but love the Y-adapter!

Good idea
It works well, my only wish is that it would some way have gates to open and close the ports to help increase suction rather than needing to unplug and cap a port when changing tools

To all painter out there I was able to run a 2 sanders from my Festool ct midi newest version vacuumAlso could use it for a vacuum and other person sanding at the same time !!I wouldn’t regret this piece and it’s original!

TWO TOOL HOOK UP.
THIS IS A GREAT ADDITION TO MY DUST COLLEXTION SYSTEM. BIT PRICEY BUT NO ONE ELSE MAKES A CONNECTION LIKE THIS.

Does the job but...
Would prefer a blast gate so I can leave both hoses attached, rather than a cap.

Works great!
I installed this on my Festool boom arm set up, so I could have 2 different size hoses on the boom arm. I used two Festool blast gates as well. (497926) The Y adapter fits with no additional parts needed.
