Audiopipe NTX-417 Tweeter - 35 W RMS - 50 W PMPO

I got it earlier than expected it was great i got to install a tweeter into my car audio system.

I didn’t even get a chance to install them. The magnet end fell off the horn when I was seeing if they would fit in my speaker.I will be sending this back. I ordered a different brand. Sadly the horn fit the cutout perfectly.Other reviews said they fell apart. I thought. Unlucky. Won’t happen to me. Well…..Honestly. It could probably be glued with some good epoxy. But that’s not my problem. It’s the manufacture problem.So. It gets one start. Sorry.

They work, they have a capacitor which is supposed to keep the low hz out.It does not work that well. I bought to replace a blow horn in my 20 year old cerwin vegas.I tested side by side my 20 year old cerwin vega horn that worked and one of these.The cerwin vega kept clear at high volume levels, has highs and mids coming clear.The audiopipe distorted at high volumes, they hit higher hz but lack in mid range. (Even passing the capacitor did not make a difference)To sum it up, the midrange lacks and they distort at high volumes, good for a home or garage but would not use them professionally.

These sound excellent!!! But don't amp em too much. Only 50 watt rms at 8 ohms. Good for just a aftermarket or factory amplifier
