My friend suggested this type of tea for sleeping well at night. She also told me the smell will be super strong but when it is tea it will be just fine and that was true. Once I made as a cup of hot tea I did enjoy the taste and somehow the super stinky smell was gone. Also it does helped me to go to sleep. I will buy it again

Okay, first if you're not familiar with this tea, before you brew it it smells like liquid garbage, that's normal it's supposed to. When you brew it it has a very earthy flavor it's very good with honey. It also helps me get to sleep pretty well which is what I got it for. I do recommend storing the dry bags in Ziploc bags or something sealed because of the smell, and don't overdo it with this stuff it's supposed to be addictive, though I can't say I have to worry about that problem because I learned if I drink too much I'll be running to the bathroom. Again that's normal. But if you're looking for something to help you sleep once in awhile it's not a bad option.

THING TO KNOW IS THIS: DO NOT PURCHASE THIS TEA - UNLESS YOU HAVE OTHER TEAS TO MIX WITH IT. I HAVE BEEN USING VALERIAN IN VARIOUS FORMS FOR DECADES SO I AM FAMILIAR WITH THE UNBEARABLE STINK, YES I SAID STINK. IT IS DISGUSTING; AND YET, IT WORKS. CATS GO NUTS SNIFFING IT - DO NOT USE IT AS CATNIP - JUST DANGLE A TEA BAG IN FRONT OF KITTY'S FACE AND WATCH. THIS IS SORT OF THE FELINE VERSION OF FUN AS COMPARED WITH THE CANINE VERSION OF FEEDING THE DOG A SPOON OF PEANUT BUTTER. I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED I HAD PREPARED TO RETURN THIS STINKER -ALAS!!! EVEN AMAZON PRIME DOES NOT WANT IT AROUND. NO RETURN. SO TO AMUSE ME AND THE KAT, I SHALL KEEP IT FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES. I MUST WARN YOU ONCE MORE, IF I CANNOT DRINK THIS NO ONE CAN. I WILL BE EXPERIMENTING BY OPENING SEVERAL TEA BAGS, PUTTING THE LOOSE STINKY HERB IN A BOWL AND MIXING SAME WITH OTHER HERBS. PERHAPS MINT, ETC. LET YOU GUYS KNOW SOONLY. IN THE MEANTIME, WHEN YOU GET THE BLUES, HAVE A CAT, JUST DANGLE ONE OF THE STINKBAGS IN FRONT OF KIT KAT'S FACE AND LIFT YOUR SPIRITS.. Here are some pros and cons from someone who is a natural night owl, but has a day job.PROsIt works! I typically start drinking the tea around &:30-9 for a projected bedtime of 11pm ish. It does work a bit quicker but to be fair, I fight it, especially if I’m into a book or a show. But once I succumb, I get the best sleep. I can even wake up to go to the bathroom and still go right back to sleep after.The tea is admittedly an acquired taste, but I look forward to it now.CONsThe packaging is awful. There are individually wrapped tea bags within the box. But I end up wasting about a third of them because the tea bag rips when I open the wrapper. No matter how hard I shake it to one side, I get frequent rips.The cost is a bit pricey for the amount of tea you get. Especially when the tea bag tears.The smell is pretty awful; but thankfully it doesn’t taste like it smells. I like to add a little honey to mine.All in all, I would recommend. That said, I’m gonna shop around for a little better value and packaging.

A nice herbal tea, to help you, with your night routine. If you are one of those individuals whom have trouble getting to sleep right away.

Received what I expected.

It did help me sleep but I felt very groggy the next morning. Plus it tasted awful.

Really a great product. It works.
