I just ordered another four (4) cases of Keystone canned meats
Like many, my family is always on the go. It could be for work or fun but we are always coming from or going to somewhere. I found Keystone meats while searching for a better alternative to store purchased canned chicken. Over the last approximately five years I have purchased well over $2,500 in Keystone meats. We use them multiple times per week. Taco Tuesday is now a breeze with ground beef or chicken. Almost all of our salads, pasta dishes, casseroles, and soups include the Keystone chicken. I keep cans to eat routinely as well as cans for long term food storage. I have opened and consumed some of my original shipment of cans from approximately five (5) years ago just to confirm they are still good and the taste and texture was identical to my new cans. My only issue is with shipping as sometimes the cans arrive several dented. Those get moved to the front for consumption first but are still good when we eat them. Thank you Keystone for making a product that gives my wife and I more time to spend eating healthy food with our family versus preparing food.

Nice White Meat
Inside the can are very large chunks of moist white meat plus the broth it has released while being cooked in the can. The meat has the texture of a pot roast. It's not really sliceable like a roasted bird. Great for enchiladas, burritos, salads...Better quality than our local Chinese Food Restaurants use.I do find it a little salty, but I also realize salt is a preservative. This still has much less added sodium than the other brands of canned chicken out there.I did find a minute amount of fat in the bottom of the can but nothing that would have stopped me from using the broth in a soup.To be realistic, this makes 4-5 good size servings. The updated RDA label now states a serving is 2ozs. Prior to redoing the label, it stated a serving was 3ozs.One thing I really like is Keystone Meats actually embosses the used by date code into the bottom of the can. It's not on the label nor is it imprinted on the metal. This does not taste or smell like Tuna. I think those that believe it does, need to realize that most canned meats are cooked once the process of canning is finished. If your mind is open then you should really enjoy this.

Good Quality Canned Meat
I have written multiple positives reviews about Keystone products that have been deleted. The Keystone Canned Meats I hove found to be a high quality product. There appears to be some disconnect between the manufacturer and the consumer that provides a poor experience. I will buy more, but from a different supplier. I can recommend the product, but cannot recommend the supplier.Cooking down the Chicken juice is OK. The Chicken is not a good as the Pork and Beef, but it is better than most other canned chicken that is diluted in water.

Delicious and Convenient
Based on the positive reviews I read, I decided to give this a try. It turned out to be very delicious and easy to use. The can size is 14-1/2 ounces with solid chicken with some liquid. The can I received was fresh and moist. This chicken is good for casseroles, BBQ, Pot Pie, or chicken & noodles. I made chicken and noodles last night with it and they were very good. I came up with my own recipe and will share with everyone.I boiled about 4-cups of noodles for about 7 minutes (not completely done), then drained all but about 2-3 cups of the liquid, added 1 can of this Keystone chicken, 1-15oz can of tomatoes, 1 tsp rosemary, 1/2 tsp salt, and a generous amount of pepper then simmered everything about 5 minutes. This made enough for about 4 good servings. I plan to have leftovers tonight for dinner. My only suggestion to Keystone is that they print an exp. date on their products. It is not clear from the code printed on the lid how long the product is fresh.Anyway, this was a good purchase from Amazon and I plan to purchase more of this.

Half the case was dented and must be used right away - not long term for me
Half the case had dents on the side lip. They are now not a long term food, this is not what I bought. I have to use these asap. I should get my money back, and keystone should improve their box. This is bull that we lose every time
