The first thing that struck me is how heavy the box was. Then when you put the chair together you could tell the very very high quality. The base is solid steel alone and very heavy. Easy to assemble with great clear instructions. It took only 5-10 min. Now using it, i wonder why i did not step up to this a long time ago! It is not a cheap chair, but this is a great example of how much more you can get for a step up price. I use my chair daily for many hours at a time and i am loving this! Great product!

Awesome quality as expected but wishing I would have purchased the leather version; the mesh hurts so I have to keep a blanket between me and the chair on the bottom.

After a lot of research, on paper, this chair sounded like the best value for the money. I placed the order and when it arrived, there was "some assembly required". In regards to comfort, I give it a 1 out of 10. In regards to lumbar support, I give it a 1 out of 10. The mesh does not provide protection if you extend the seat forward. You end up sitting on a metal bar. I gave it a 2-week trial run because I really wanted this chair to work. I eventually had to sit on a pillow and could not sit for extended periods of time without pain. I eventually starting using my old chair and returned the chair in perfect condition and expected a full refund since it was returned within 30 days. After a few days, the chair arrived at the manufacturer. They then notified Amazon and Amazon notified me of my refund. The original purchase price I paid to Amazon was $749.68. The refund was for $657.21. The manufacturer said the $92.47 was for "shipping fees".I can not in good conscience recommend this chair to anyone and will give a warning that the promise for a full refund is a bunch of hype.I did select another company's chair and absolutely love it. It is more configurable, has great lumbar support, is extremely comfortable, and was delivered completely assembled! The 10-year warranty is also a plus. I will not be returning my new chair I purchased to replace the Ergohuman. That's 5 weeks (and counting) of my life that I will not get back. Learn from my experience, look elsewhere for a quality chair that you will love and keep.

I paid 600$ for a chair and I really wish it leaned back... Good chair at first. I am 6`1 140. Head rest pushes my head a little bit forward and its hard to relax leaning back with my back straight. Also the hinges on the back rest for me sink in and dont stick out enough to help me maintain my support. My height must contribute to this uncomfortable posture for long term sitting. "Hard to find the sweet spot". Good product and construction. I love the mesh and design.

Alot of people are talking about the lumbar support issue. For me, this provides a good support when you're sitting all the way back. However, if you want to have a slight lay down - and do work, this provides little extra support. Unless of course you always want to work at a 45degree angle. Originally I was going to give this a 3 out of 5. When I fixed the problem, and wedged in an extra lumbar support product I had, it made a world of difference. Now I can sit back, and not worry about my lower back. I wedged it in so much, that the wedge bottom is actually being held up by the seat. It's pushing my lower back up and out, which is absolutely perfect. A little hard to explain. Look at the picture of the chair. See the lower lumber support? See the gap below it? Now imagine that gap being non existent, and this doubling the lumbar support. Good chair. Mesh provides good airflow. Many adjustable settings. Only wish lumbar could be raised a little higher.

It's comfy, but expensive for what it is....the arms don't stay in position and if you raise them up, you have to raise them all the way to get them to go down again which is frustrating.

The chair was easy to assemble and very solid construction. Unfortunately the seat was too narrow for me. I was sitting on the frame bars of the seat.
